what's considered "not that tall" anyway? is it anything below 5'7? because now it sure seems incredibly common to see anything above 5'7 on the runway, no?
i like stam, but she always looks about 5'8 herself...i just don't see any length in her neck or limbs. i'd really like to know what her real height is.
it really doesnt make a big difference anyway in my perception of her though because when one compares a 5'8 model and one who's 5'10 there's not even a significant difference anyway since the extra 2 inches are only seen in the forehead. it's not like there's a whole head-length gap of difference there.
2 inches of more height really isn't saying/doing anyway unless you're concerned with the direction that your eyes go at. i'm not used to looking at people directly in the eye since most people don't look at other people directly ....we all move our head and tilt our gaze to demonstrate our moods and soften our approach. so not being eye-level with somebody doesnt indicate their height to me at all, especially with people taller than me since it is common for them to slouch. in that case they're the one looking up at you, fooling you all the more about their actual height.
does anyone else think mentioning a half inch is silly? if you're so close to another inch, what difference does it make visually when a half inch is so small? i wonder why they think it's worth it in modeling to do say rather than just list a flat figure. mentioning three quarters to me is even more ridiculous...you're basically already there, no one's gonna notice!
what's the consensus on this? to hell with half inch or hail the almighty half inch? lol
