Models Who Aren't That Tall

I would say Sasha is around 5'8...
I have a MALE friend who worked as a commercial model in Chicago being just 5'7 , but he has a mixed etnicity (spanish-chinese-filipino) and have amazing features, so I can understand it... he just look like a porcelain chinese doll (am I making any sense?...lol)
Anyway, this thread give me confidence as I would like to try modelling and I'm just 5'7 (for real, bare foot and everything), but I'm so used to say I'm 5'8 that I'm starting to believe it myself!

Is he the kind of model who shows up at events to model sponsors' products? I've seen lots of "non-traditional sized" models do this. I think the shortest girl I've seen was around 5' even and the shortest guy would be around 5'7 or 5'8.

If one looks at Sasha on the runways and candids of her and other models, you can clearly tell that she's around 5'8. She can get away with being that short because she was a favorite of Miuccia and the industry. Honestly, I thought it was common knowledge that she was short.

I'm not quite sure, but I think it was basically that type of modelling and some print work also. He's back at the States now and at the time we met I wasn't so interested in the fashion industry so I never asked for the details...

*weigth talk* I didn't think that 5.9 (1.79) was considered small in the modelling world |o|Lydia is not tall at all, because she appeared in Gossip Girl, next to Chuck, wearing heels and even thus she wasn't at his height. I was reading Isabeli Fontana's thread and some people said she was 5.6 or even less. It was funny, because I've never seen her as a short model and she said she's 1.77 (5'8.3).

^ 5'9 is 175 cm, and it's pretty average, but I don't think Snejana's quite that tall. Probably somewhere in the 5'8 range. As for Isabeli, 177 cm would be 5'9.5'', but she's clearly shorter than that. But most definitely not 5'6!

I dont know but for some reason i dont find ALB that tall, i dont know what it is, she just seems shorter than 6" feet but i could be wrong.

well, I just searched websites where I can convert feets to centimetres and there it's 5.9 = 1.79. But, anyway, this is not THAT important. Thanks for the information! And about Isabeli, that's what she said in an interview.

Malin Martensson, Lily /Ruby Aldridge, Valerie Sipp, Tuanne F, Suzanne Diaz are 174 cms.

oh ok, because when she was walking down the runway in Chloe in chloe she looked kind of short like 5"8 and she was walking soooo fast i couldnt tell her height.

How tall is Masha Novoselova? She always looks much shorter than the other models at shows when she's walking in the finale.
