Models Who Aren't That Tall

I have seen quite a few models lately and I am surprised how not tall (not gigantic at all) they actually are

Marina Perez, supposedly 5'9.5 (according to IMG Models), looks a little shorter

Barbara Garcia (5'10.5) in the middle.

isabeli is not so tall, but she's like bianca, alessandra, izabel. they all have curves so it's not so important their height

well models are tall compared to other girls, but why should they be "gigantic" ?

I don't know, u always imagine they are so tall and thin, so it's pretty weird to see they can be shorter than u

I've been browsing through this thread and yes, I've already read that Ali M is supposedly 5'8. But in this pic I think she even looks shorter than that, 'cause Imogen is listed as 5'10 and she looks def taller than Ali - eventhough she's slouching!

...thats actually pretty tall for a girl. A lot of people would be shorter than you...including the models listed at 5'9", because it usually means shorter than that

^ that's not because the model is short.. is that the catwalk of that D&G show was divided in 3 part.. the one in the middle was more high of the other 2 on the sides.. the model, after posing, walked 3 steps and came back

5 inch heels can make basically anyone look tall, i guess the height criteria is all fabricated until the designer finnaly gets an up close look at the model. with the heels on, they dont really even notice

Thats Gisele who is listed height is 5"11

i am a model - dont want to say who i am - but i'll tell you that most agencies round up or down by about a 1/2 to 1 inch.

if you're 5'7 1/2" you're listed as 5'8"
if you're 5'8 1/2 you're listed as 5'9"
if you're 6'0 you're listed as 5'11"
but if you're 5'10", you're listed as 5'10" usually.

and i've seen some models that are a lot shorter or taller than they are listed. but the bottom line is that most models are at least 5'8". not all are really tall, but if they arn't, they have extra long legs that make them look taller. and some of the girls are just giant. i've seen more giant models than smaller models.

Okay I have another one:
I know that Taryn is a giant, but the girl next to her (??anyone know her??) is wearing heels and she is still shorter than Taryn, who wears flat sneakers and isn't even standing straight.
