I think Sasha is a little shorter then 5'7" as well, because Snejana to me does not look 5'8.5" or even 5'8", I think because she is so tiny, she looks taller, like Natasha Poly. To me, Natasha, Anna-Maria, Sasha and Snejana's legs don't look as long as the other girls, sure, they look a little longer, but if you look at Freja - her legs are like whooaaa

I'm probably biased because knowing all these mdoels are actually not so tall gives me a little hope!

The majority of tall people have longer torsos than legs, so it is relativly easy to mistake a tall model for a short when if you go on leg length. I have a friend who is 6'3, and my legs are longer than his, (and I'm only 5'8!doh:

i think yo can really tell sasha is short(her loegs look stocky next to everyone else). snejana also has never looked tall.

maybe some are 5'7", like mona and bianca, but most are close to the height the agency lists.

I'm sure Mona is shorter than 5'7... Might be 5'6, but, actually, I won't be surprised if I find out that she's something like 5'4...

I read that Shannon Click was 173cms then it's around 5'7

Actually, 173 cm is exactly 5'8

And, as to Kate Moss, I don't think that she really makes a good example, cause, don't forget that she started modeling in 80's... At the time, the border line for female models was 5'7.

That's because she's got long legs... I know she's a shorty, but she would look a good 5'9 to me if I didn't know...

and don't forget Devon, who's probably the shortest model ever. There was this editorial with Devon and Kate Moss I saw from a few years ago, and Kate was at least 3-ish inches taller than Devon (who according to some ppl who have seen her say is about 5'3'')

Is it a reliable source ?? Either way, her height is a lie, 'cause when she was just getting started it was said to be 5'6 1/2...

Actually, I always thought that Sasha had long legs, which sort of compensates for her lack of height, a bit... And, when I look at Natasha Poly's runway pictures, her legs look long to me too...

I don't know about that... in a Vouge interview Carolyn Murphy, who started out around the same time as Kate, mentioned how she was rejected by a lot of agencies because of her height, and she's 5'8. And bear in mind that all three of the modeling "trinity" are over 5'9.

Does anyone know what agency Mona works with, and what they say her height is?

Also, I've always read that Natasha is 5'11...is there anyone who works with models who might be able to confirm the suspicion of some in this forum that she might be shorter? I have never heard she was short before. Maybe she looked shorter in person simply because she's so slight (she has my measurements--33-23-33--and I'm 5'6 and people are always on my case to eat a cheeseburger...)

OMG! I had absolutely no idea Snejana was so short! I knew Sasha was probs only 5'7.5" or so but Snejana?!!? I though she was 5'9"/5'9.5" at least!! Maybe that's cos she's so thin but still. From that pic, I'd say Snejana is like 5'7.5"/5'8"! Well, well, well. You learn sopmething every day! Lol.

Do you mean, Linda-Kristy-Naomi ? Someone said that Naomi is 5'8-ish, I even think it was said by a few people, including someone in this particular thread. I don't know what Kristy's height is, though Linda is reported to be 5'9 1/2 (176 cm), but basing on that the super-supermodel of the late 80's - early 90's, miss Crawford is only 5'7.... Well, you get the idea...

I have a book from back then, I don't remember what it's called, but it's one of the best known books about modeling, it has Cindy Crawford on the cover and it gave me some info about what modeling business was like... In the 'how to become a model' section it states that you need to be 5'7 or taller, so...

OMG, Sasha looks so short in that picture... Though, she walks sort of out of the line, so it's making her look shorter too... I think she's about the same height as the model walking behind her. Though, I don't know who she is...

I just find it hard to believe that there are a lot of fashion models under 5'8, if only for the fact that the majority of them were scouted, and didn't chase modeling. I wouldn't think of scouts going after anyone visibly under 5'8/5'9, unless she has an incredibly unique look, like Devon. Kate is just an exception.
