Most Overpriced Designer?

LOL Anthony really outdid himself after the Marabou feathers coats from the hosiery collection!
250k for a YSL feathered coat?
Where's yslforever when you need him? LOL

Vacations darling
Needed a break from you
The price is set so that no one orders them...

at that price they better pluck the chicken right in front of me , turn it into a gourmet fried chicken, cut every strand of feather and individually reconstruct and sew them into my skin.
At that price, it should be a nearly extinct rarissime bird and not a chicken.
Even real tortoise shell (turtle shell actually) glasses aren’t that expensive.
They are 10 to 30k.

if someday AV makes HC for YSL.
On my dead body. They are not allowed to do HC, and maybe if the Kering's exec were nicer, they might have gotten the rights (it's at the discretion of the Foundation), but they aren't, and AV has not the skills to be a couturier. They (Kering) were this close to get the rights with Hedi. But Hedi left and Pierre passed.
Maybe later, with someone else as CD, someone else as execs, and someone else as owner of the fashion brand.

so interesting...
So you mean Pierre Bergé's last husband, Madison Cox, can authorise or deny the rights to the Saint Laurent Haute Couture ?

At this point, is it a question of person? I don’t see why Madison Cox would give the rights to Kering anyway.
Do they have an heir already in case something happens?

Would it be hilarious if L’Oreal buys YSL and Madison gives the rights to the Meyers.

I was wondering the same about Alaia…As Carla is getting older too. Maybe Farida should be the heiress of the fondation.

He owns Saint Laurent Couture. So yes.
The same way the fondation owns the archives of Mr Saint Laurent.

Exactly like that, it's split, Madison owns the Couture and the Foundation the archives.
Pierre and Yves were so pissed with De Sole and Pinault, they made it extra complicated to made Couture out of reach of them.
