I don't watch a whole lot of movies and I'm far behind when it comes to popular movies (I still haven't seen Titanic

), but here are a few that made me cry:
The Phantom of the Opera (watching it right now

)
The Green Mile
Life is Beautiful
Cinema Paradiso
Rudy (I'm a football fan and I just couldn't hold it back)
Monsters Inc.

The Fox and the Hound
The Elephant Man
Jakob the Liar
What Dreams May Come
Patch Adams
The Straight Story - I don't think this one has been mentioned yet, but its a movie about the journey of an old, disabled man who rides his John Deere tractor across state(?) to see his dying brother. Its a simple story/movie, but that old man just made me weep.
A Penny Serenade - An old Cary Grant movie that I believe is hugely under-rated. Its a movie where a young, barely-making-ends-meet couple adopts a baby. Very basic story-line but the scene where Grant is in court pleading for the judge not to take the child away will rip your heart out. There's about 5 different points in the movie where I would cry uncontrollably.
Now, Voyager - A Bette Davis movie that I must have seen millions of times but cry every time.
Mr. Skeffington - Another Bette Davis movie with an ending that will break your heart.
It's a Wonderful Life
Brief Encounter - Old 1945 British movie that was banned in the US for moral issues. The narrative throughout the movie is exquisitely written and describes the emotions of confused and forbidden love perfectly. And the last line of the movie
