Movies That Have Made You Cry

My Girl! Of course
Last night it was Across the Universe

^I actually watched that movie today & it haven't made me cry, I was expecting to cry though, when was going to watch it but I guess I didn't have motives to do so...
the final of the movie was brilliant, the best part of the whole movie...it was too much drama for what I expected, wanted more romance...the film was totally worth to watch, it has fantastic elenc. & Cate Winslet is unbelievable gorgeous:heart:

the very first movie that made me cry was Heidi. i was 7 years old, watching it on TV, wearing my "pajamas"- an oversized t-shirt. by the end of the movie, no exaggeration, it was soaked through.

I've suddenly remember the first time I've cried watching a movie.

and it was Grave of the Fireflies, japanese animation.

I'll never forget how I felt when I watched this film. I was about 8 at most, my parents rented it, thinking it would just be another Japanese animation about families or whatever, because the chinese title literally just meant 'Goodbye Fireflies'
And there I was, watching it on my own, and as my parents recalled, they suddenly heard me crying :cry:

I guess one of the reason is that the family members in the movie is the exact copy or mine - mum and dad, with me as a big brother who loves his sister to bits. The only difference is that in the movie, they all die :cry::cry:

I hated that movie, and I still hate it after all these years, I'll never watch it again.
Everytime it's shown on tv, i'll just switch the channel right away:yuk:

two more movies that've made me cry...Bambi and the Land Before Time...

i can't help crying when bambi and littlefoot lose their mums :'(

Seven Pounds
Stepmom
Shawshank Redemption
Moulin Rouge
Mamma Mia (slipping through my fingers!)
My Girl!
Lord of the Rings - Return of the King!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Twilight!

and The Fox and the Hound had me bawling!

it was Grave of the Fireflies, japanese animation.

I watched that recently, I couldn't get over the realistic way they animated the little sister - not in terms of her look, but in the way she acted and moved, you got involved with her as if she were a real person.

wall-e is one that recently made me tear up!

aww this movie has so much sweet moments! ^_^ my favorite one is when wall-e and eva are outside the spaceship playing with the fire extinguisher and that man and a woman start to actually talk to each other

the one i can think of off my head..is Sophie's Choice with Meryl Streep

Vanilla Sky... I'm watching the original "Abre Los Ojos"/Open Your Eyes, and I must say it's equally thought-provoking.

That's one of the only movies that evokes this feeling I can't explain, and makes me question everything and cherish everything at the same time. It's tragic yet enlightening. I know, I'm getting mushy and deep.
