Natasha Richardson passes away after skiing accident

She was a brilliant actress and I am sad that's she's gone, but I like to believe she's in a better place now.

its just so horrible that she was fine after the accident n then went bak to her hotel n a while later said she didnt feel right.. how shocking. n what a freak accident. so so sad.

She must have had a preexisting condition. I find it hard to believe that such a minor fall would've caused this. I wonder if she had a clot and the fall caused it to burst.

Her passing reminds that I need to take more risks when it comes to certain things while I'm still around and not worry so much if it doesn't work out.

Nikilee, my dad keeps saying the same thing ^ I am saddened but also anxious to know what really happened if it wasn't so bad the first couple hours and then she dies (as in a preexisting condition) I was really hoping the gossip was worse than it was, and she would pull through...

I've been thinking the same the past few days. Her death only proves how much we should enjoy life, because we never really know what's coming next. I'll stop saying 'no' to a lot of things and start experimenting more, allowing myself to be a little bit free. R.I.P. Natasha.

Natasha has died on Wednesday, March 18 at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
“Liam Neeson, his sons (Micheal and Daniel), and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha,” the statement said. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

As a personal comment, I’m shocked It’s for me really hard to write this, I have cried all the entire day and I feel really devastated with what happened with Natasha. She was a role for me in my life, and now she’s gone. Sorry guys, but I don’t know what else to say, I’m shaking, crying and writing at the same time and to be honest I don’t have idea what’s gonna happen with this site, probably I’ll kepp it as a tribute for her and her fans. Anyways, one thing I am pretty sure, “I will always remember and ADORE you because you were my talented Natasha Jane Richardson and my beautiful white countess, you’re gonna be always in my heart and thoughts!! This is just so sad to me. My heart and prayers go out to her family.

I remember when I was a child watching Natasha in The Parent Trap countless
times, and she always reminded me of my mother. Such a class act.

What a wonderful woman, she will truly be missed.

I cannot get this out of my head...so tragic. You see people fall and bump their heads on a daily basis, what are the odds that her injury would be fatal? Just hard to comprehend..

The odds arent as unlikely as you might think. My father also bumped his head on a chandelier and thankfully my mother is in the medical/health field and got him to the hospital in time, 48 hours later if unchecked he would have been dead. So people should always get stuff checked out. Never dismiss it as 'just a bump'.


Everyone-live your life to the fullest!! This is sooo sad.

I really feel so sad about this, even though I didn't know her. I think its because she seemed like such a nice person and she was so young still. I feel bad for her family, particularly Liam and the boys. Just 3 days ago their life was normal and now it will never be the same .
