I've been noticing every conceivable neutral shade of beige, tan, taupe, camel and cream everywhere.

I'm pretty sure that's Prada and not Marc Jacobs, Spike.

definitely lots of camel tones and neutrals popping up...
i really like them for winter and wish i would incorporate them into my wardrobe more...
i always find myself gravitating toward the dark colors during the fall/winter season and it's nice when stuff like this adds some levity and light...
instead of sort of contributing to the dark and somber tones of the winter weather...

maybe i'm reading too much into it :P
these light colors make me feel good though

^ I'm exactly the same way, Chrissy. If it's black or some shade of gray that's where I immediately go.

I think it's a color that suits everyone, I'll definitely give it a go
I'm especially convinced by Cavalli's aesthetic

I adore neutrals, I imagine they've grown further in popularity because they are such wearable colours and people want wearable clothes right now that go with anything - investment pieces should have the same diversity that neutral colours have.

I think it's a good thing that nudes have appeared a lot on the runway for f/w 10 as when high street stores pick up on it and start selling winter suitable pieces it will make a huge change from a sea of people in black and dark neutrals like you see every winter.
I love nude colours but I'm sure I will tire of the summery styles at some point so it will be interesting to see how the trend translates to winterwear below the designer level.
