I need to
- STOP buying expensive suede shoes (Louboutin pan booties, Dior booties, and Miu Miu pumps all from yesterday come to mind) when I live in a very wet and messy state. Even with scotchguard!
- STOP compromising on fit so I can own a certain piece. Yes, it's nice to collect, but the grandma cuts of Marc by Marc are looking awful on me and instead of wearing it to say I'm wearing it, new brands.
- EXPLORE new brands instead of loyalty to three or four. Trade in True Religion, FINALLY, for Hudson Jeans, which are only 160 (!! SO CHEAP) and fit me all that much better. Same goes for thank god for giving Philip Lim a chance yesterday and finding out although I thought it looked funny on the rack, he makes me look like a woman.
- START to shop away from 'contemporary' and '5F' and move toward the more grown up pieces. But I will never sacrifice J. Lindeberg who I'd like to marry for his silhouette's in women's denim. Less Nanette Lepore, more Bottega Veneta.
- ONLY buy things that I will want to wear in a year. Yeah, being in trend is cool, but having the pieces of classics will allow me to look good year round.
AND HIT THE GYM.
