New Year Style Resolutions 2008

i love this thread~..:woot:...

i want to dedicate more time and $$$ to personal grooming...
meaning more frequent haircuts..
manicures
pedicures
etc...

good beauty products, etc...

-Wear more heels
-Buy more high quality, classic pieces
-Wear what I want and not care if people think it's too "fashion-y" or risky
-Get my jeans tailored

That is one of mine too. ;)

I also want to:

Grow my hair longer
Get my jeans hemmed
Buy some better fitting bras
Take more care and effort into what I wear to work (I am shooting for a promotion)
Say good-bye to anything in my closet that is worn out, unflattering, or damaged
Only buy pieces that really fit well and add value to my wardrobe- no more impulse purchases!

- dress more classy and sophisticated
- buy one expensive high-quality item instead of lots of h&m pieces
- work with accessoires

as many people have said, concentrate on quality not quantity
wear critical glasses during sales instead of my usual rose-tinted ones...
rotate what I wear more
experiment with dreaded (to me) neutral colours...

I'd actually like to buy less in 2008. I don't really buy many clothing pieces in the first place, but the point is I don't need anything new, really.

  • Clean out my closet.
  • Buy more timeless pieces.
  • Start (smart)shopping at Anthropologie.
  • Buy more pairs of shoes.
  • Be beautiful.

throw away the hand-me-downs
:ninja:

wear colours and clothes i've been wanting to wear
that means getting to work.. in the lab... should finish that this vacation

also: keep hair clean and cut

eliminate my tendency to wear track pants, tees, and sneakers when I'm too tired to "dress-up"

:innocent:

- expand my wardrobe
- don't buy anything i'm not wearing after all (but i already have this under control - a little bit)
- watch my money (a little bit more..)

Now that my style is in tune again... don't loose it.
Not to look at trends, buy only what fits me.
Now that i have discovered body-con I'm not letting go.
It's ok to start to wear things that felt too grown-up before, red lipstick is one of them.
Get my jeans tailored, bought them but they need to be altered to perfectiopn.
Expand my growing collection of tights, my last splurge was a pair from La Perla for £33.. so worth it.
Buy more navy, it really suits me.
As always, quality over quantity.
Buy more shoes, but stop buying boots as i do not need any more!
