Pale Or Tan...

I look sick in the winter, ghastly grey-ish complexion. So for me, a tan works a treat. Too bad I'm scandinavian, the season for tans are so short here...

I love pale type of skin, really
I've always been pale, and when I look at those solarium girls, I love my face...

It depends on the skin type. For people with tans, I think the most attractive look is a bit darker than natural, not red, not orange, not brown, just a bit more golden. And that means really little sun-damage, too.

As for myself, I hav naturally easily-tanned skin, but I have cultivated paleness for the past five years or so. So I'm quite pale now, and it works for me.

I am pale with dark hair and blue eyes, I have a hard time getting a tan. I spent 2 weeks in the sun in the Summer and mine skin hardly changed colour at all. I like being pale, I think it makes me stand out (although I feel abit gothic at times)

I`m very pale with greyish-blueish eyes...so it kind of works for me and to be honest tan doesnt look very good on me

I'm pale by birth, with a tan by Lancome :p

If I had lovely creamy pale skin I'd consider not fake-tanning, but since my skin is verging on the translucent I look more pink than pale, which is incredibly unattractive. I look so much better with a hint of a tan that I'm completely paranoid about going natural now. I guess I'm reliant on it the way many others are reliant on makeup.

I have never been able to tan, so.........pale it is for me. Not pasty, pale; there is a difference between pasty and pale.

ha ha:p ! Me too! Laid out forEVER and never tanned!

^ then u dont need to worry about people tell u to get a tan 24/7, even if u know sure that u will get a burn instead :P :)
btw i was doing a satire about how contradictary it is that applying chemical tanner will give u a natural glow... almost all of the chicks flipped out in my class

I'm more attracted to tanned beautiful ones (not meaning tanned like George Hamilton! :yuk: ) with amazing eyes :p blond or dark hair.
but i do like red haired women too, like Julianne Moore.

I think I look better tan..or atleast I know i feel better tan. But only a natural tan achieved in the summer. In the winter I just learn to live with my pale skin which isnt too bad!

i reckon most colours(clothe4s-wise) look better with a tan. take yellow and white, for example.

^ actually most of the clothes u see in the mall these days are for tanned people...
not a pale person, not a naturally dark person, but a tanned person.... O_O
a very example is the store garage...

im pale @_@ i havent come across a color i cant pull off. no worries you guys, i think it really depends on the shade and what article of clothing it is.

but lavendar & lilac is super pretty on fair skin! i have a lavendar tank top im dying to wear again but its still not warm enough outside!

i also like a pale sheer yellow

white makes me look more tan(if it makes any sense)

olive warms up most complexions as well

I'm a... erm, not tanned person. Or, well, yeah. But more brown than tanned. So fairly darkly tanned without the orange?

I love the pale-skin-with-dark-hair look.
For example, Dita Von Teese...
