I see so many other women who wear lots of earrings! I'm thinking about doing the same, any advice?

How do you mean? Just 2 extra holes? 1 in each? That's nice, if you wear a not-hanging-earring in the second ones and a longer earring in the first ones... B)

I'm looking at wearing earrings in the cartilage part of my ears?

What part of your cartilage?
I have my conch and rook pierced

I didn't know I had choices in terms of where it could be done?

Of course
there's the tragus, anti tragus, rook, daith, conch
Do a search for BME online
it should give you all the photos

ONLY wear 22Karat gold while the wound is still healing. Either that or surgical steel. Even if you've already had lobe piercings you can still get a nickel allergy.

I suggest surgical steel if you're going for a deep, low gauge piercing.

Over spring break in Florida I got my eyebrow pierced. I figured I needed something new, and I didn't want my hair colored or cut. I feel like I look like a punk! When in my business classes, I cover it up pretty well with my bangs. But when I go out, I love showing it off.

What do you think when you see somebody with a nose or eyebrow piercing?

I'm scared that it's giving people the wrong idea or emitting the wrong image. I think it looks adorable, but that's just me...

personally i don't like piercings.
it depends what your overall clothing is like. some people stereotype people with pierced noses/eyebrows as punky, badass girls. im sure if you have a sweet, friendly personality, it will look obvious that you are not that way :flower:

Whenever i see anyone with a single eyebrow piercing or nose stud i dont think to myself, "punk!" because thats abit silly. Theres nothing wrong with showing it off or there would be no point in getting it done :P

Anyway i think most people that get piercings look good if it suits them but others who just do it for the sake of trying to look "cool" is pretty sad *ahem* :innocent:

I got my belly button pierced after years of thinking. Now I can honestly say I would not feel "me" without it. I think it's cute and sexy and very practical as I can hide it when I need to and show it off if I want to.

I'm not fan of piercings in general but on some it can look very good.. as long as you don't over do it

I find facial piercings to be very distracting and, in a job interview for example, I think I'd be put off by it. Just being honest. :flower:

I don't like very many piercings, but the eyebrow is actually one that I do like! If you are in school and can take it out if you need to look for work, why not??

Hey EG- I did kind of the same thing. I was lost driving around in Australia and i got my eyebrow pierced at a tatoo shop that I stopped in for directions!
I had the tiniest barI could find after it healed. I liked it for a couple of months, thought it added a little more interest to my face :ninja: But I decided to take it out b/c after all it is a metal bar stickng through your eyebrow. I thought I looked like a little girl playing dress up sometimes- a piercing will give your "eveningwear" a totally different look. And I think there is a certain assumtion of toughness or at least of you trying to be tough. I think I looked tougher - had to go back to au natural :flower:

Extreme piercings generally gross me out a bit, but I do think more subtle ones can be nice. I rather like nose rings myself, although it really wouldn't suit my face. The extent of my adventurous piercings is the stud at the top of my ear... ;)
By the way, has anyone seem these before? I've been noticing them lately and I think they actually look pretty good on certain people. :flower: http://www.yongesttattoos.com/images/pierc...elanie/mel5.jpg

but of course I would take a facial piercing out for a job interview...I agree, it's not professional at all. :)

If you didn't wear it to the interview, I wouldn't expect you to wear it on the job. :innocent:

No offence meant to anyone, but I find eyebrow piercings really tacky; it's the bodyart equivalent of buying drip-dry polyester dress shirts as far as I'm concerned. Both can look good though if it's done right, it's just very very hard to pull off that look. ;)

I'm pierced myself, though I hardly ever wear jewellery, so I certainly don't mind the idea of being pierced. Like has been said, just don't overdo it... Keep it uncluttered and you will prevail!
