And Trev^ you should get it too! Well, after you decide which nipple haha. And sorry for the double post guys, I'm on my Blackberry lol

Finally got my first piercing last week, my helix. It's only just stopped hurting, but man the babysitting of it is annoying ha!

I want my tragus on the other side done next. Recommendations?

^^McClaire: it went great! It didn't even hurt AS BAD as I thought it would. I chose my left one cause I only intend on getting one and I just like it better on the left side lol. The pain is maybe comparable to an ear piercing DURING the piercing process, but later afterwards the pain lingers on and stays around I guess until it heals. Oh and expect some bleeding. My bled a lot the first day, but now it calmed down.

Not sure if I could handle the blood but it's great to hear all went well! :woot:Knowing me I'd finally decide on a nipple and then change my mind afterward. Being fickle sucks.

^^Lol, did you guys decide on which nipple to do yet?

Does anyone have a Conch piercing? I want one in my left ear, an inner conch piercing. How badly does it hurt and is it "masculine" in a sense? B)

^ its called a tragus, i want to get it dne too. but i heard it hurts alot

i have a tragus and to be honest getting it didn't hurt - i just didn't like the first 2 weeks after it - the whole area is very delicate afterwards and you really really have to take care after it ...but after about 2 weeks it all calms down and now 2 years after i had it done i don't even remember i have one :) it's totally worth it!

Hey guys,

Just wondering - those of you with tragus piercings - do you know where you can get some unusual jewellery for it?

I'm bored of the ring or bar thing....I want something really cool but the choice seems pretty limited. I wore a ring till it healed then changed to a silver bar with a diamond ball on the end (the outer part). Had that for a couple of years.

I've just ordered a bioflex bar with a gold-plated dragonfly stud on the end (just google dragonfly tragus to see) so can't wait for that to arrive but I'd love your ideas?

My tragus piercing had a little bubble on the hole! :( its taking so long to heal!!!

Does anyone have a conch piercing? If so how was the piercing experience and aftercare

I got my tragus and my tongue pierced when I was 15, I let my tongue piercing grow over after about a year, but I still have my tragus pierced. I love piercings in the bridge of the nose, but I'm not going to get one

I have both on my conch's done. I have to admit like any other piercing you are going to experience a little pain. You can hear a 'pop' when the needle goes through which i think is pretty cool :D You HAVE to do excatly what your piercer says in terms of aftercare, i developed a few bumps on both of them from being a little bit lax with the healing. All in all, you should definitely go for it! Its quite unusual to have one seeing as everybody else is rocking the tragus piercing at the minute.

^^Thank you ohcaptain!! Yeah i've been thinking about it for quite some time now and my GF is basically forcing me to get it. hahaa, but i may go for it soon.

Mine did, it was gross. I could move it around, then it sort of just fell off. Nice. But its fine now I've had it years.

^ i had mine for 4 months + with the bubble on it! the other day the bubble popped! now its gone down but its not as bad as before. i got it taken out today though :(

To all of you who are developing the dreaded "tragus bump", i suggest that you remove the jewelry twice a day and clean it with tea tree oil. It should clear them up in a week or two.

Does anyone have any surface piercings? I had my neck pierced a while ago and my only advice is to go to a reputable piercer!! Mine went from looking like

Ending up like this

So make sure its done the proper way and with the correct jewelry! This applies to belly button piercings aswell :)

Just got my lip pierced yesterday! A labret, is it called? I really want it to heal quick so I can replace the stud they gave me with a ring :) It's the first piercing I've ever had (in addition to having my ears pierced as a kid).

^Congrats!!

Just got my Conch Piercing the day before yesterday and it is freakin' awesome! By far the most satisfying piercing i've had so far (i have one piercing in each ear lobe and my left nipple). Just hope it heals sooner than the 6 months people have been telling me, although my piercer says itll take about 6-8weeks. ^_^
