just wanted to report, since people had questions on how things fit and such: i got the blue bustier top, the palm print cotton gauze dress with the square neckline, and the hooded sweatshirt today. i'm usually a size 4-6 and dresses in terms of tops (a 34B bust, with well-developed arms and shoulders from years of ashtanga yoga) and the size medium in the bustier fits quite nicely. (i have to say, if you are smaller in the bust you should go small, but you may be able to squeeze into the medium if you are a C cup.) the detailing is great with the stitching, the colors vivid but not tacky (i was a bit worried...teal makes me nervous!) and the fabric is decent.
anyway, the palm print cotton gauze dress is very charming and pretty. i'm not a huge prints person, but i love the colors and the small pleating and navy piping on the waist and around the neckline! i can't wait for summer to wear it, it's a perfect hot weather frock AND it's lined. the fabric is cotton -- decent, not the best quality but i've seen a lot worse. i got the size medium, and it fits just slightly loose (i could have probably gone small)...there's a bit of gapping in the back that can probably be fixed with a slight shortening of the straps. i'm trying to decide if i want to order the small, but i can live with the medium, especially since i'll probably wear the dress in the summer, and the heat always makes me hate tight clothes in any way. to those who are interested in ordering this dress and are around my size (5' 2", 34B, 4-6), the medium is slightly loose but comfy, and the small might be better fitting around the shoulders and bust but tighter around the waist...
the hooded sweatshirt is comfy and cute...it's designed to fit on the snug, shrunken side. the medium on me is slouchy-cool in a way that i wanted, but those who want a more precise fit should get a small.
i hope this helps those who are ordering online and are wondering what size to get! i'm due to get the brown bustier dress as well...let's see how the sizing gods treat me!
