bravo wednesday 10pm and many reruns (its on today at 11 am and 10 pm est)

I watched the program, think I'll catch it again.

However, as host of the show, I thought Hedi  had 0% personalityand energy. She was absolutly boring. :ninja:

I loved the creativity of the designer of the corn husk "gown". Very clever!!!
The one that voted off- was well deserved to be booted.

Am I the only one that stayed up late watching this? They had to use materials from the grocery store to make evening wear. Some horrible, some really creative. well- M. Kors., Patricia Fields (SATC), and the editor from Elle are judges.

is it worth watching it?

is it worth watching it?

I'd say so, it exceeded my expectations. The designers are pretty cool, and I like the concept of the show. It is def. America's Next Top Model with fashion designers, but it still rocks. Heidi is def. overshadowed in the show. When it came time to judge, I was like- where did she come from

It's a pretty exciting show. However the only worthwhile talents on the show are Austin (the cornhusk dress) and Nora (the lounge chair dress). Everyone else is just soooo bad or really expected.

wish I had US bravo so I could see this. Sounds like they have a decent panel of judges too. Or at least people with experience in the field.

can't wait till it comes to UK! i like the concept of the show, too

Confession: I would wear that lounge chair dress  .I thought it was fun and really.....INNOVATIVE!

does anyone have any pictures from the show?

it feels like so many of these reality shows are to spark up fading model's personas.

saw it last night...i agree completely with the judges...

and i'm impressed that they had legitimate industry professionals and not some random no name wannabe famous photographer or stylist... like on america's next top model...

this show is good...anyone interested in being inthe industry should definitely pay attention...

i love when that model showed up late and that poor girl had to run around the street randomly asking people if they wanted to model for her...THAT HAPPENS!!!

and then when her model finally showed up 1/2 hour late because she said her mom usually wakes her up and her mom was out of town... ...WHAT?!?!...that's not an excuse...that was so lame!!...i was so excited when she said her agency dropped her because of it...she totally deserved it...she needs to get it together... you'll never make it in this business if you need your mommy to make sure you get to work on time...a chance to be on national television with all that exposure and you can't even hadle getting there on time...LAME!!!

and so i agreed completely with the judges decisions...that corn husk dress was almost couture...and the blue thing was ok...not incredibly creative to me...but it was rather wearable as a garment which was impressive...

the guy who was kicked off was living in his own little universe...i think he really believed his own BS...but in the end...BS doesn't sell... it looked like he made a pattern for a garment but didn't get to the garment itself...and brown paper , tin foil and a garbage bag are kindergarten basic in terms of materials... i think he is more interested in PLAYING a designer than actually BEING a designer...hope that crybaby girl goes next time...
^_^

OOPs! sorry for the mispelling...it's Austin Scarlette.

It's on tonight at 10.. I've never seen it before.. maybe if i'm bored I'll catch it after ANTM

SoftGrey I totally agree with everything you said. The corn husk's were really creative. The fact that it was still WEARABLE after the little "mishap" without refridgerating it was great. Although, Austin somewhat scares me.

I was shocked to see Pat Fields and Michael Kors there. I figured it was going to the that editor and a photographer that i'd never heard of.

The only thing they could make better on the show is Heidi's script. She says some of the stupidest things. Or maybe it's just the way she says them. Like, "Fashion is a b*tch sometimes" I just rolled my eyes.

Maybe I can download it? It doesn't show here where I am.
