Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcons for H&M Designer Collection

I was like the first in line only because I thought they opened at 9 and not 10..haha but I got what I wanted..and a bit more..I think I have to take that ruffled sleeve blouse back tho

meh

i wanted to go for the launch today, but i was tired and it's raining lol.

but i saw that dress/coat yesterday and the seams are *puke*. all over the place, so badly finished, it's unbelievable.

I got myself a zipper jacket with holes near armpits (it actually looks cool on, though quality could have been a bit better, adding linning would have made it much better) and fragrance. I thought at first to get the fragrance for my sister as a present, but I tried it and I love it :p I guess I wont mention it for my sister and search for other present.....

I think it was quite ok in Copenhagen. Well by 11a.m. almost all jackets were gone in main store, and some people were really buying out entire collection, I had 3 people standing before me in line to pay and it took half an hour for me to buy :ninja:
I really wanted to get the shirt with ruffle sleaves, but up front, it looked very cheap and the transparant material didnt help, havent seen any trousers left, but all the skirts were still hanging :p Though they look a bit odd on.

I love the hat and the tuxedo jacket, tho the jacket could have been better in quality..

Manchester was pretty quiet waited in line for only 20 mins before the opening. Got 2 shirts and the black pea cots which was the item that sold out the fastest. Selection was OK but no wool pants apart from the black suit, website availabilty didn't match what they had in store but nice pieces. In terms of men's coats think the pea cot is better than the belted trench. Also bias cut shirts look good.

Also got the fragrance.

Plenty of women's stuff was available. Polka dots and the bags were the quick items to go.

I wonder if anyone bought that dress/coat..it looks pretty bad IMO

I'm sorry but I don't really get why people would buy that bag, the quality is Sh*it and you'll see people all over the place having the same bag as you..:ninja:;)

Hi!

It was only two of those here in Helsinki, one in two shops. I think they were both size 38 and gone in some minutes... OK for me, 'cause I didn't like it at all, although it was really CDG-ish.

anyone know how much people want the drop crotch pants, I'm hoping to score a pair? I need small sizes and I know those are always first to go!

Oh also, the fragrance, is it unisex like most other CDG parfums or is it distinctly masculine?

I have no idea about the pants, I think some people are buying stuff just for the h'ell of it..

I went to my city's (Tampere) store at 9 when they opened. Some idiot had set off the fire alarm (vandalism they think) so we didn't get in right away. There was only about 15 people there, mainly girls.

I think the drop-crotch pants are the biggest hit of this collection. I could only score one pair in size 38 which fit ok. Also the ruffled sleeve shirts and the jackets seem to be popular but our store only carried one jacket and size 36 was way small on the bust area, even for someone like me with a small bust.

The clothes seem to run small or too big, ie. I'm normally size 36 and tried on the pleated skirt in size 34 and it almost fell off me.

I don't dig the polkadot thing too much (too overplayed) so I ended up getting the white ruffled sleeve buttonup shirt, the drop-crotch pants, and the sweater that was made of blue and grey pieces. My boyfriend got a black sweater (size small actually was small!) and I think he will also wear the drop-crotches. I also got some other items but I have to try them on to see if I will keep them or not.

Ebay prices are going crazy already...

I SAW, the Lolita dress is hitting well over a grand USD, which is OUTRAGEOUS!
I wish I'd had more money, I would've copped it, since I know I'll probably one of the first in line. Shame!

I know, I'm usually a 34 too, but I had to buy a 38 in the tuxedo jacket..but then again I'm not that small in the bust area :ninja:
