It was really funny. I only got there 1 hour early and was quite near the front of the queue but the guy right at the front had been queuing since midnight! What an idiot!

tiffany7 - I got them! Unfortunately all the Uk8's were sold out so i had to get a 10 which is too big but i love them so much I got it anyway!

at first i was excited to hear about this, but i can find real cdg at consignment stores for the same price as the h&m collaboration and the quality is better. i like several of the pieces, but i don't see anything too new--more of a greatest hits collection than something never before seen.
is the collection at the h&m on broadway in soho? is there even anything left for me to look at?
how is the fragrance?

No, it's not there. Only the flagship, 59th and lex and I think 34th were carrying it. but only the flagship had the complete line.

I didn't even notice the perfume, they put it up so high on the shelf...

anyway .... sincerely i'm comparing those queue in front of H&M to the queue to get some concert tickets ...
then i was referring to Björk ... because to get a Björk's ticket in France at least you MUST queue !
i remember in 2001 when i send my cousin to queue from 6am to the opening doors 9am to get me two tickets for the concert @ le grand rex ...

so yes i'm comparing those behaviour to fanatics' ....

i just think H&M made the biggest marketing plans of the 1st decades of XXIth century with those collaborations .... they are just AMAZING ! see how people are craving for clothes ?!

it's just disgusting the antics and the fanaticism this has created. people fighting,camping out,acting like divas.....over disposable crap with a cdg tag???!!! that makes absolutely no sense to me.

I work near the H&M on Michigan Ave. and I walked in at 9:15am to see if there was anything left. They had a handful of clothes left but it was the basics. The SAs were telling me that people were waiting in line as early as 4:30am!!! If there was an item limit I didn't see it being enforced because I saw people buying lots of multiples.

Things were also getting snatched up as people were putting it back on the rack. I was looking at one of the military jackets and someone snatched it from my hand!!

I really wanted the scarves and wallet but I refuse to pay eBay prices. I was disappointed because the fabrics on the pieces I did touch felt cheap...especially at their price points. I think I'll try to find the real pieces from consignment shops.

Can't believe some of the prices on ebay !!!! £250 for the pea coat that cost £100 shocking !!!

As for the wallets realise it was £35 and I think they normally retail for about £90 but I don't think they must have produced more than a few for each store !!!

I went at around 11am this morning and it was deadly quiet. There was plenty of some things still, but they only seemed to get a limited selection. The main thing I was looking for was a short jacket/peacoat and I don't even thing they were stocked. There were about 50 trenches and plenty of all the shirts and polka-dots (with the exception of the shoes).

I thought the perfume was horrible & the quality of most of the shirts just above normal H&M quality. The white dress shirt was very nice though. I left empty-handed but am sure if I change my mind there will be things left.

hello everyone. i just went to the 34th street h&m, everything was pretty much gone. i did get the navy trench-it is lovely. i saw the polka dot cardigans there but the quality looked bad and cheaply made. does anyone know what the US size range is? i got the trench in a 36 and its a bit big..wondering if 34 is the smallest or is it 32? thanks in advance.

I went after uni this evening and didn't expect to find anything left and I was right. The assistent told me that all the stuff was gone within 10 minutes and that people would just grab things without caring what they got. I bet half of it is up on ebay already. She also said that this particular shop wouldn't participate in something like this again. She was really frustrated.

The smallest size I saw was a US 4 (34). I'm quite tiny and the size 4 dress fit almost perfectly (I just need to shorten the straps).
