I haven't liked Prada's proper collection since SS03 but the Resort has always been gorgeous. I can't wait to see the accessories.

Also good: Celine, Bottega Veneta, Chloe, Miu Miu

Not bad: Christian Dior

Boring: Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs.

Head-scratchingly bad: Narciso Rodriguez (boring!), Michael Kors, Calvin Klein (three bad collections since new head designer came on board), Ungaro, Stella McCartney, Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Louis Vuitton.

it's not really the same dress, the new one is much better.. taking an idea further, developing, thats what i like from prada.. still on the whole i was a bit dissapointed from this resort, Elbaz' influence seems to be getting ..contagious :innocent:

he's a star
i wonder if there is a Lanvin Resort line..maybe not

Marc Jacobs ripped-off Tess Giberson in one outfit.
this isn't the first time he's done something like this.
he really loves ripping people off now doesn't he

PARIS — Beautiful and complicated — that description fits most of Nicolas Ghesquière’s collections for Balenciaga, which, while intriguing, don’t usually have an everyday practicality. This, however, certainly isn’t true of Balenciaga’s new cruise line. For the season, Ghesquière has developed an accessible group of preppy separates that includes blazers with gold buttons, striped cardigans and pleated linen shorts — all with a bit of edge. Here, for example, a vivid viscose sweater with linen shorts and a leather belt

 Balenciaga does a cruise line :o .....ok, this cruise line has become too much. It seems like last year only the American houses (Herrera, Blass, Klein) and European luxury companies (Dior, Gucci, Prada etc.) were doing cruise........anyone else notice that>

Ok, so I'm relatively new to the fashionworld (6 months ago) so I have no idea what resort is.....(most of) the clothes I saw in this topic looked great ( Jakobs, Galliano) but I don't know what resort is....fill me in please :)
