if ever there was a rick owens collection for the sex and the city girl, this collection was it. seriously, i cannot remember any more commercial offerings from the house of rick owens than this one. it's not just the shoes and the jackets, but it's the dresses and the dresses and the skirts and the dresses and the dresses. have we seen a rick owens collection within recent memory without so much as one pair of pants? and the styling did him favors here to....all super-palatable....all super-accessible. for a designer who pretends to not feel commercial pressure, he has sure responded to it in a resounding way.
