Robert Pattinson

^^ i know!! and its not like hes the biggest character in NM.. i bet hes only going to be in it for 10 minutes at the beginning ang 15 at the end... how much could they need him to drop a role???

hmmm. now that i think about it.. he still could be in alot of the movie (for those of you who have read NM) in bellas thoughts... so ya,, thats probably what theyll do to keep him present in the whole movie

i think it would be so terrible if they kept him in it too much. i'm not the biggest twilight fan but i'm reading NM right now and i think especially at the beginning you (the audience) need to miss him as much as bella, she feels completely lost and alone and when the audience would see what the cullens(or just edward) was doing at the time that feeling wouldn't really come across.
but i read somewhere as a suggestion that whenever bella has her "visions" he could be standing behind her instead of just hearing his voice...and whenever she turns around he's gone. i guess that would be an option to keep him in the movie but still concentrate on the bella-jacob story. but summit has gotten very greedy it seems and they will come up with something to get him into it as much as possible :(

i still think hes gonna have a major role in NM. As amahlia pointed out, he's in bella's thoughts a lot and also, i don't really think the end of the book, without giving anything away, can be a 10 minute scene..it's going to be longer than that..
that's my two cents :)
i wish there were new pictures.. :(

i just hope they won't make those cheesy flashback-montages whenever she thinks of him...or tries not to think of him. please not!!!!

Just imagine if he were to read some of the things in this thread, too.

hahahah I was just thinking that. I love his personality and his laugh. I love when guys have cute giggles lol.

And thank you so much Alvedansen for all the translations!!!! They are fun to read. :D

Have you guys seen Rob's playlist on iTunes? It's soo good. He has great taste in music!

Maybe for the NM film they can condense all the Jacob crap into the first 10 mins and the short book ending can be expanded to become the whole movie = RPattz galore :crush:

"C-Jam Blues" by Oscar Peterson: "What I learned how to play blues piano riffs from. Peterson was the best."

"Solid Sender" by John Lee Hooker: "If I could have a song as a wife..."

"Soft" by Kings of Leon: "I've always thought that I really relate to the lyrics of this even though I don't really know what they are. I love the singer's enunciation in all their songs. They are pretty much the only modern band I can say I am a fan of."

"Cold Sweat" by James Brown: "This song hits me just as hard every time I've heard it since I was a little kid and I listened to James Brown on the way to school."

"Dean" by Terry Reid: "I love Terry Reid. I love the schizophrenic decisions he makes towards the end of this song when he's choosing what notes to sing.Terry Reid was just one of those guys like James Brown who when they got into a groove, it just seemed like they'd want to keep singing the same line, let alone the same song, all night."

"Stepping Out Queen, Pt. II" by Van Morrison: "Another guy who has such a visionary and unique take on what structure in songwriting is, what singing is, and what can be achieved emotioanlly and spiritually through music."

"Lengths" by The Black Keys: "Another new band I like. This is a beautiful song. I like how it's produced. This whole album is great."

"One Mo'gin" by D'Angelo: "I love D'Angelo. I used to always try and sing like him when I was younger and embarrassingly fail. I like his pronunciation when he sings. I think when you try and write lyrics and you think that there is no way the listener will figure out what you're saying or what you mean, you write much more honestly. I think."

"Blue Monday People" by Curtis Mayfield: "Got inspired by putting D'Angelo on. This whole album is amazing. The production on it is incredible. A really interesting album which not a lot of people listen to. Don't know why."

"Brown Trout Blues" by Johnny Flynn: "I grew up with some amazing musicians in London who are still my friends. Marcus Foster, Bobby Long and Sam Bradley are recording their albums now, but Johnny Flynn completed his one a while ago. I just saw him play in L.A. and he was incredible. But he's always been incredible so I can't say I was surprised. Get this album it's great and no one else does music like him at all."

"Ambulance Blues" by Neil Young: "One of the most moving songs ever written or recorded. I used to listen to the line 'I guess I'll call it sickness gone' on repeat for hours when I wanted to try and write something."

"A Whiter Shade of Pale" by King Curtis: "Just a beautiful song. Reminds me of the end of Withnail and I."

"Ruby's Arms" by Tom Waits: "My favorite Tom Waits song. I cry almost every time I hear it. Plays over an amazing scene in one of my favorite movies too - Prenom Carmen."

"(First) Essay for Orchestra, Op. 12" by Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Yoel Levi: "This song just hurts, it's so beautiful."

"T.B. Sheets" by Van Morrison: "Only Vam Morrison can do a performance like this. No one else has come close."

Just adding my two cents about PPB.

It's so disappointing that he dropped out. PPB seemed like it could've been his way out of being just Edward. Too bad it's the whole reason he's not doing it anymore. I really don't understand how there could be scheduling conflicts... is he REALLY going to have that much more screen time in NM? I know they want him to cos he's clearly a huge source of their revenue, but... to have to drop a lead role for it? It's frustrating. It seemed like it was gonna be yet another great choice of role.

your forgetting the fact that they are filming new moon and eclipse at the same time.

^ it kind of makes sence that they would make the movie at the same time.. i mean thy arent going to look that young forever...

Yeah, is it confirmed?
Isn't just New Moon and Eclipse that are being filmed together?

ok, here's someother information on the PPB thing

We here at Spunk Ransom have a “Parts Per Billion” update! My assistant Elizabeth made contact today with ChubbCo, the production company involved with “Parts Per Billion”. She spoke with Cotty Chubb and his assistant Kerry. She said,
I introduced myself to Kerry [....]. I asked the question “Is Robert Pattinson still working on “Parts Per Billion” or does he plan to in the future or is he no longer with the project?” She responded, “That is a really good question…….I was wondering that myself.” Some how we were disconnected. I think I caught them off guard.
I called back and Cotty answered the phone. I apologized explaining we were disconnected and he handed the phone to Kerry. I apologized to her. She asked me to repeat the question - I did. She put me on hold a couple of times (I’m sure she was talking to Cotty).
She (Kerry) said, “Robert Pattinson is working on “New Moon”. “New Moon” date was accelerated so he had to go with that project . We are hoping to make it work later .”

unfortunately this was shortly before the Mtv info, but maybe, just maybe there is still a little hope that he will shoot the movie, just a little later this year

and the whole TeeMix interview
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsaLEElmKpw

aw il est tro mimi dans l'interview de Teenmix. Il a dit que les fans aiment la personnalité d'Edward plus de lui-même. Mais, j'aime la personnalité de Robert plus d'Edward, exprès son rire mdr. :p
