I'm still angry that it's not coming out in Atlanta. I thought they'd have it here to correspond with the opening of their new store

When is the store opening? i thought it wasn't until early 2008?

I don't know exactly when it opens. I assumed it would open before Thanksgiving as the Thanksgiving-Christmas time period is the most profitable for retailers. So it would be sort of dumb for H&M to open after then.

If you go to Atlantic Station they have a sign up that says H&M but there's no information about when it'll open. Zara opened up almost over night (and they're Spanish!) so I don't see why H&M can't move that fast.

Yuck on the silk fabric for the leopard print. And the jewelry is not what's going to be in the collection i don't think, i think it's the original pieces that the collection pieces were modeled after. same for the corset i think.

I'm way too excited for this collection, and I'm usually pretty meh on designer collaborations. It's probably my weird love for Cavalli talking here, but I really like it.

I'm planning on hitting up H&M the first day it's available - I hope everything ends up looking good in person! (that is the typical problem with designer collabs to me - everything looks so great in pictures, and then you see it and you're all "yup, this might have been designed by (insert boldface name here), but it's still Target, or H&M, or what have you).

yeah thast happened with last years v&r, most of the stuff ended up being pretty crappy and cheaply made looking..i hope this one is better (like the stella was good quality).
