Oh, wow ^ it was worse than we thought. That runway show was painful to watch, literally...

It was those hideously "designed" shoes... why on earth do you need laces on backless shoes? It's just asking for the laces to come undone since they really aren't holding anything together. Plus the back part has absolutely no support so they'll just slip off with a wrong step. I could understand if they all had a strap like the second shoe below but still, that whole front part is unnecessary... ugliest and most useless shoes ever. Just make them an ankle boot and call it a day.

From my experience/what I saw backstage, tape rarely works on shoes. You don't even need to have sweaty feet, just a little moisture or wearing the shoes for some time will cause the tape to come loose. And let's not forget that some designers are 100% sadistic and don't want tape or anything similar to even come near their shoes.
