During the Emilio de La Morena Spring/Summer 2017 fashion show (at London Fashion Week on 20 September), the fourth model had serious problems walking in her high heels (from 1:09) and eventually lost/picked up her right shoe. @1:29
Here are three photos of that :

And another model twisted her left ankle later in this show :
Oh ! Yes, you're right ! So this model kept tripping during her first exit and had to remove one of her shoes, and yet the technical crew let her do her second exit wearing the same shoes, and consequently with the same tottering walk
By the way, I've been able to find another video of this incident with a close-up view where we can clearly see that there was something wrong with her footwear :
"A model struggles with a shoe as she presents a creation by designer Yoshiki, leader of Japan's band "X Japan," from his Spring/Summer 2017 collection for his brand YOSHIKIMONO during Tokyo Fashion Week in Tokyo, Japan October 17, 2016"
"MOSCOW, RUSSIA - OCTOBER 17, 2016 : A model stumbles while showcasing creations during a runway show for the Spring/Summer 2017 collection by Russian fashion designer Oleg Ovsiev's brand VIVA VOX on the closing day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall"

And here's a video of that (uploaded by myself, with slow motion) :
Oh holy hell... backless platform high thin stilleto heels and tights?!? They had to be an absolute nightmare to walk in... I'm only surprised that there weren't more wrecks...
Why do they make the runways so complicated now? So few shows have the classic runway where you just walk towards the end and just return.. everything is a maze now.
