Love this sheer cardigan and the very partially sheer pieces; just so you can see the seams.

love the sheers. has anyone ever seen someone wearing a straight sheer in public? this girl hasn't..

Nope ! But I prefer sheer when it's used in a subtle way or overlaid on fabric to give it a different effect.

Still think that Jil Sanders spring 2008 was one of the best examples , so gorgeous.

I love the Christopher Kane sheers - the mix of fabric weights using the same print - it reminds me of a piece from McQueen's last collection.

this has become such a notable theme thats been brewing for a while now, well, Rei seems to always have had poke out somewhere in her collections...but, what makes it so interesting now is how the different designers interpret it into their own garments. im seeing lots of successful use in leg wear especially, which is my favorite interpretation of transparency.

luckyme I also adore the transparent legwear take - it's so elegant.
I don't have time to update this thread with photos right now but Fendi, Jil Sander and Francesco Scognamiglio all used sheer in amazing ways.

I do saw the sheer things prevailing the runway this season than ever, it to some extent change my asthetism, I used to hate feather-light / transpparent fabrics.

I am loving the sheer that's happening. My friends already ask why I wear so many see-through clothes--now I can refer them to this.
