^ Love it too. It evokes subtle sexiness to me, as long as it's done properly.

I think we're gonna need visual evidence with that one Mr Rocks.

the use of sheer has been impressive this season! so many great looks

I'm in love with the ones above ^

On a very brief visit from the Fur Overkill thread:

Using metallic-looking sheer fabrics as an overlay(?) which creates a rather wonderful effect, I think.

Crying Diamonds, those are amazing. I especially like the full gown and the purple asymmetrical dress.

^ I love the yellow piece best I think out of the above, very closely followed by the silver. The sheer fabric creates such an amazing effect.

A vague Jil Sander S/S 08 was felt about this, but only in a few pieces. I rather love the unusually cut skirt on look four.

in past seasons there was a sense a distinct following in the use of transparency.. it was not always about just having a sheer fabric; but i think it was in s/s '08 it felt more about lightness --it was layers and layers of transparent fabric... so i wonder what, and hoping that,s/s 2010 will evolve into something........ . :-)
