I have a pair of the AA tricot ones and they are super comfy. I don't have to worry about it being too hot here but I haven't worn them in warm weather yet. I love those Hussein Chalayan ones. Beautiful!

American Apparel should definitely come out with new styles and colors for their metallic leggings........ not too tight and a bit saggier would be a welcome change.....

I like metallic narrow pants, not the leggings. I've seen those metallic leggings on people IRL... AA needs to redesign them, the fit isnt flattering on 3/4 the people who wear them. The runway versions that go over the top of the foot are nice, really elongates the leg, but I dont like the bunching and gathering that happens b/c of the material. coupled with rubber look makes it look almost flesh-like.

I prefer a metallic lean pant, structured at the waist, but slightly baggier and slouchier away from the shape of the leg. in between a straight leg & a skinny leg pant, narrow and clean. that would be more wearable.

I could definitely see the muted metallics being more wearable.. probably pewter or a really dark gold/copper

I have the AA Lame leggings in matte black. I cant wait until it cools down so I can wear them. They also have them in gold, silver, copper, purple & now red.

So I finally bought some shiny leggings to wear for my birthday ... Black (AA las vegas) to wear with a floaty grey and black chiffon dress and tucked into black oxford shoes. I love the look I just hope i dont look like a fat, pvc cow.

A friend of mine's girlfriend wore a pair of gold metallic ones a couple weeks ago...and they looked fabulous...but I'm still so unsure about them
