not enough nays in the world for those...

OK I already bought these, but I was on the fence for a little bit.

Don't worry about hurting my feelings!

This is going to be a surprising deal for me. For the wedge sandal boots in Post #600, they are absolutely weird in design. These are the most unusual boots I've given a Yay! to. I'd instantly absolute nay these back then. But as you know, I've eased up on open-toe boots. I also have no problem with wedges. I'm the ONLY person on tFS that says "different doesn't always mean better." These are different-good (surprisingly). Boots like those are what you'd probably find on a runway or from a fashion-savvy blog. Here is another strange thing I'll say- those boots look better than certain gladiator sandals.

I have no problem with loafers, but I'm not really in love with those in Post #603. So I'll go (Moderate) Nay! on those.

Thanks everyone for your opinions on Givenchys!

Thanks, John. I think those look better on foot than as stand-alone. But it doesn't matter, I'm already in love with them for ages) I like their "bandage look".. I think nothing is too much about them. But then I know very few people who will agree with me.

Nice Loafers Woodstock, I am a big fan of heels but, A nice loafer is a killer

need a freezing snowstorm boot, no suede on the bottom (95% of snowboots are suede even on the toe??! I just can't imagine how it would be durable under slush and salt conditions, even if you spray it like you've got OCD... if I'm wrong please let me know!!)

Anyway I'd hardly say I'm in love with either of these these but the best I could find. What I really wanted was the Tory Burch duck boots which I can't find anywhere in my size. I also was thinking of the MJ lined combat boot (leather seems more durable than suede, but still needs to be lined for warmth) but same problem, can't find it. :( (so the yay or nay is for the above 2...but any info/thoughts on the bottom 2 would be appreciated too.)

i would say go with the first pair.. the lining on the second pair could get annoying

do you have any outlet malls near you? it might be too late there too but a cousin of mine got a pair of MJ duck boot VERY cheap (maybe $40ish) at the barneys outlet about a week ago
