Thanks guys! I'm ordering the brown brogues, and if I find out that I really love them, I think I'll go for the kooky blue pair

^From seeing pictures of you in the WAYWT thread I would have picked the electric blue ones for you because you seem like the person who could pull them off!
I'm kind of over brogues at the moment but the brown ones are definitely a classic so it can't be wrong investing in a pair.

Thank you everyone for the opinions on the Silent flats. I'm still unsure about them. luckyme, I'm worried about what they will look like when they break in too and I also would have loved to see them on someone else first . I think I'll wait until they go on sale or when I have a coupon, given I'm still interested in them by then ;)

The_Ida I think u choose wisely...since the brownies are ones u are gonna be able to use more and yeeeh if you really fancy them the blue ones are kinda cool!!!

Psylocke Same here, i have no idea if take my shoes back or not... like im a bit confused... i buy sandals in Winter and boots in Spring... does it make any sense? hahah
Despite I saw how they look like in the February lookbook of the website store...

i like blue ones the most, cos they are blue!!!!!

Yay or Nay? They are Pedro Garcia and cost 280 EUR.
I was looking for a nice pair of wedges that are comfortable for a while now...
(I am also thankful if any of you have other ideas ;-) )

BonjourTristesse, I'm kind of undecided... leaning A BIT towards nay. The contrast is very sudden... and I can't tell if I like that shock or if it's questionable.

Thank you all for your opinion.. I'm generally quite sure my taste is good - but when it comes to shoes I'm always a little undecided... I want something special and nothing too safe (as I usually buy)... If anyone has ideas about wedges/summer shoes that are beautiful plllleassee let me know!

^ Hi BonjourTristesse, very important question first!! How much would you be willing to spend? :flower:

^ok so here's some wedges I love, they are both Tory Burch and around the price you mentioned. I think Tory Burch shoes have a design that is edgy but still wearable on a daily basis!

Now... these Proenza Schouler are the ones I have been lusting about but unfortunately they're a bit out of my league, but maybe they'll do as inspiration for you:

There are also these Prada that look a bit over the top at first but then look at Sienna Miller! Doesn't she look hot in them?!?

Lot of wedges here! Let me go through these.

* I am sure that 280 Euros is fairly expensive in converting to US Dollars (maybe in the $150 USD range?), so anything worth that much HAVE to be WORTH that price. They are cute and casual to me, so Yay! from me for the wedge peep-toes in #789. Plenty of ways to casually dress these up.

* Three wedges in Post #797. Not entirely in love with the first pair, but they're... alright. (Slight) Yay! to the first pair. I tend to prefer wedges with a platform to them, so that's why I favor the second pair more than the second. Those are a pair I'd wear if I were a femme, so I will actually go Big Yay! for those. I have eased up over time on peep-toe booties. However, I'm not feeling these. Book me for Nay! on those slingback peep-toe booties.

* Sadly, I'll have to fail the ones in Post #798. They get a Nay! from me. I do fancy them in brown rather than that black pair in the other picture.

I have few problems (if any) with wedges. Sure, they may be fake high heels to some people, but they are still lovely shoes. The only one I've given my best marks to was the second wedge sandals in Post #797.

Dress (and shop) with confidence!

bonjourtristesse i'm going to say yay...
i like that they're a bit different from a lot of what is out there but that they're still really on trend :flower:
