Quick reviews...

* Post #460 open-toe boots with paper bag shaft - Nay! Burn them. There are much better open-toe booties than these.

* Post #469 over-the-knee boots - (Moderate) Nay! Pardon me if I sound like a prick, but I still have yet to be amused with ANY over-the-knee boots. They are about as pointless and not stylish as "jeggings." Flat ones are still as horrid as high-heel over-the-knee boots, just less (exotic dancer)-ish. They do look nice (warranting a Moderate opinion), but I'm not in love with these. So... I'm failing these. Some lovely below-the-knee riding boots would be much better than these Chinese Laundry ones. Winners don't do over-the-knee boots. I'm sorry.



Two boots, two nays. Dress (and shop) with confidence and look as fabulous as you like!

* (first boots) I'm okay with the first ones. So I'll go... wait a minute. I noticed this is a pair of boots with open toes and some kind of lace-up detail at the back. The open-toe is a deal breaker, especially combined with the rest of the boots. So therefore- (slight) Nay! Had it not had the open-toe design, maybe a Moderate Yay.

* (second boots) Uh, no. For Halloween, maybe, yes. For wearing with any sort of outfits... Nay! Definitely failing these. Like quilted boots meet a straitjacket. Tough, but not stylish. Fail.

* (third boots) HELL no! Big Nay! This pair of boots is nowhere near stylish or cute thanks in large part to the huge furry details.


If it's "yay or nay and which," I've been mostly partial to the first pair of boots. However, I'd pass up on all three of them.
