I've been wearing this trend for a while now, but I noticed it hadn't been discused here. so it thought I'd post some pics. I love shorts, they show your legs, but are easier to wear than skirts

I am a bit mixed about shorts. I hate short shorts. I used to hate bermuda length shorts...until, on a whim last month, I tried on a pair of bermuda length navy blue sailor shorts that were on sale for 5 pounds at h&m, and discovered that they suit my body type and looked adorable - big surprise to me because I don't really like them... but admittedly, I ended up buying them, and thus succombed to the trend. I also made myself a hypocrite because I have always said I would NEVER wear shorts... I still am not sure if I really like them though...

personally I'm more interested in finding a pair of old fashioned knickerbocker trousers...

ot: no proper knickerbockers are like...old fashioned golfers wore in the 1920's...they gather and cuff at the knee. a bit weird and hard to pull off, but I am determined to find some.

ahh, finally a thread on shorts. i love love love them!..I wear them all year long (rainy days included sometimes ) and i have TONS of them, many colours and materials to loan .

i dont like the number of celebrities pics posted here though, it looks more like a horrendous trend rather than a basic, lovely item, but still, they have some nice picks even though these type of shorts have been around for quite a few seasons now..

well, if it is warm and i cannot wear a skirt or dress cute shorts are a great option, you can still show off your legs and feel a little sexy, but its still casual, comfortable and practical. i wear them with flats or heels ( w. heels they make the legs look great )

i am usually wearing when i have nothing else.
