Shorts

Mullet, I love the first and last pair of shorts you posted.

I personnally am not too crazy about shorts, but I prefer them to skirts. Skirts are too "vulgar" looking in my opinion, of course, I know it's just me, and I am making a generalisation.... .... I myself tend to wear skirts every now and then.... ...so ..... :innocent:

Shorts are a cute and chic way to show of your legs and they are really cute.... The Marc by Marc Jacobs style ones as posted by Acester are invading stores..... ...in different materials....

thanks for the credited catwalk looks style-savy :flower:

I love shorts, I have seen some nice one at H&M , I think I will get them soon :-) it's better to wear shorts at university than a short skirt...

shorts look good on thin people.. like nicole richie, i love how they look on her

I think the real short shorts belong on the runway or on other thin people. Bermuda length, or a bit shorter or longer works pretty much for everyone I think. As long as it's not jeans, that is very touchy when it comes to shorts. They can make your *** and legs seem very big suddenly, while they are not big at all.
Good spotting! :flower:

I only wear shorts to the beach, the park or the pool. The longer, dressier shorts come back on the runways once in a while, but never really catch on, I find, especially not the cuffed ones. The casual shorts are around every summer, it's not really a trend, IMO.

How old is too old to wear shorts?

The trend for wearing city-style shorts didn't quite take off last summer, but this year, they are back with a vengeance.

Thanks to sharp tailoring, the traditionally boyish items have been given a sexy look, and upgraded from beachwear to a stylish alternative for the office.

A word of caution, though: they look their best when worn with long, toned and tanned legs, and so can be hard for anyone over 30, or larger than a size 10 (UK size), to pull off.

For those blessed with lean limbs, the right shoes are key to making shorts work. While tall girls can get away with ballet pumps, petite frames should choose wedges, or higher heels. Flip-flops should be avoided by all, to avoid downgrading your shorts back to beachwear.

I wear mine with flip flops, and I don't think I look like I'm going to the beach. All the other accessories have to be right too
