Short Shorts for Winter

Cute look.. though my definition of short shorts is something... way shorter. Haha.

I think it's a good fall or spring look.. but it's -30c here in the winter.. or colder! Maybe for more temperate places... like Cali or Florida or something.

I think the idea of wearing short in winter is stupid. I live in a place wear it doesn't get very cold, but it still makes the girls look dumb and like she's in need of attention to surrender comfort and warmth for the sake of being trendy.

I think it's fine. I see girl's in nyc wearing mini skirts with tights and leg warmers. With shorts, atleast you won't catch an up wind. LOL
I wear my fave denim shorts by siwy. They are from spring, but they aren't short short. They are a little longer than normal, and fitted. The color is not indigo, but a lighter blue. I wear it with black tights, a long black tee and a chunky gray or pink sweater by twinkle. It looks cute on some girl's that work at this store, who wear it with boots that go around the ankle. I don't think I am leggy enough, so I just wear it with tall boots.
It's warm! Especially with a long jacket.
I think it's totally fine..
and much warmer than even a long skirt.

I love this look too. We never get particularly warm weather here, even in "summer" so I pretty much always pair some type of tights with my extensive shorts shorts collection! Love that chloe pic with the teal blue tights

seem to be very hot for xmas , saw them worn mainly with black opaque tights..

I agree with however said that it looks good on runways, but doesn't work for winter in real life. I have seen some people do this look, but it just looked extremely awkward when you thought of the snowy weather of last weekend

In NYC, girls are wearing thick tights, which look like leggings..or as thick as..and they seem to be fine in this ice age weather...lol
They just usually have massively huge coats on over it..

Great thread! I think it could be cute... ..but over here it's often below -20 degrees in the winter, so I don't think it would be a great idea...... Why not wear them in the summer?
