i've never heard anyone use the term 'french style' when speaking about shoe heel...but i assume she means a curved heel in the style of louis the 14th...(fancy french guy...) ;)

something like this...

i agree. ouch. Imagine falling in them...

I think the Christian Louboutins are love at first sight

It seems like this season all the shoes are very high or flat

OMG, I feel like such a sheep but I love those Louboutins!!!
Just so you know, I'm a freak. I wear no less than 3 inches everyday. My most common shoe is 4', so the sky high thing won't be so bad for me.

I like the color of the mint green one, and I think I would like the entire shoe if the heel were about 2" and French style rather than straight.

I love those ribbon/boot things, but I think they would actually bunch up and fall down and not really look very good on or be at all wearable. See Gladiator Sandals.

I dislike straight heels as well..is what you refere to as french style heels that are slightly curved ??
I prefere that kind of heel..the way the curve makes the leg and the shoe come together.

Yeah, in all of the accessories collections the shoes were either stilettoes or flats.....interesting.

They're all tasteful and cute, but gaaah - I'd fall over trying to wear them. Well, maybe not, but I'd get some SERIOUS leg cramps.

the louboutins are mine

i actually think the dior would look better with a slightly lower heel... :innocent:

I agree. With very high heels I think it's important to make sure the heel is not angled back wards for a classier look. Even though some designers purposefully design shoes with a rear-angled heel, that look reminds me of a "working girl" I saw walking in cheap looking pumps with the heel angled backward making it look like the arch of the shoe had "broken" under her weight. Ugh.

I dont like the Dior ones, they look tacky to me and the shape looks funny.

I like the Christian Louboutin but I would never be able to wear heels that high out in a million years, I'd probably fall flat on my face

The shoes themselves are mostly cute..but the heels are so high! I know I could NEVER walk in those, and I think they look a bit cartoonish....like some sort of caricature of a shoe...you know what I mean?
