Woah what an odd choice...does she even know what Aus Target is like ? I guess they're trying to change their image though to fit the American one.

i dont think that's their aim.... australian shoppers don't really care what the american target is like, ours is australian enough to suit us (i go there mainly to stock up on $2.95 aussie bonds singlets haha but there is some quality stuff there). Although i completely agree about the quality of the alice Mcall collaboration!! terrible!!

also i didnt know what they meant about unveiling it at the loreal melb festival - isnt that usually scheduled after the march release date of the clothes??

anyways, good on who ever at target australia worked this deal! and again i dont think it has anything to do with matching the american target - i think the main thing they have in common is that they both like to make a profit and so its probaby just trying to cash in on the success of collaborations that have been made worldwide.

Did anyone from Australia buy any of the Alice McCall stuff for Target last year? It was terrible quality and everytime i wore my dress i saw someone else wearing the same one. I'm not sure about this but I'll certainly have a look once its released.

I bought the blue pinny dress and the red and white dress. I've worn the pinny dress once, and haven't worn the red one at all. They're cute and they seem pretty average quality to me but the designs are everrrrrywhere here in Australia.

Back on topic, i'm very excited about the Stella McCartney for Target Australia collaboration!

oh my gosh... i can't wait! They are going to be stocked at TWO stores on the Central Coast. Half the people on the coast don't even know who Karl Lagerfeld or Tom Ford are let alone Stella McCartney. Hehe... I'll just casually arrive and snap up the entire collection...

Lol they'll probably take one look at Target items over $50 and say what a rip off..

my reader sent some info to me and i have a few images up! HELP! Any of you guys from Australia willing to help me get a few things haha? I’ll luv you forever I promise!! The Stella McCartney for Target AU collection hits AU Target stores on March 12th, that is in one month!! Images are starting to surface finally, this collection reminds me a whole lot of the one she did a few years back with H&M. The knitted jumper is the most obvious, minus the disco ball zippers and it transforms into the Target one. The materials and colors seem to be pretty similar as well, but the prices for the Target collection seems a bit higher. I really like Dusk Silk Blouse and the Taffeta Trench Coat!
