Straight-leg Pants

:yuk: I do not find the high waist flattering at all. Not even on the thinnest woman.

 Tapered makes even thin people have an ice cream cone effect :yuk:

Now if the strait leg was incoporated with the low rise (as long as it covers your bottom) that be great! :flower:

As of right now straight leg jeans are all over and low waist is definately on the way out. I think the next trend to watch is cigarette pants, they don't flatter everyone, only the very thin, but they are popping up everywhere from Barneys to Bebe. Don't you love it that 80s trends are back?

i think they are already back, i mean at school almost everyone had the straight to tight leg pant/jeans. Not many had high waists but I think they will come back also

High waists look awful on me, since i have a short body and long legs. Low rise jeans are generally more flattering and i love them! I aim to buy a lower pair than the last!

I love skinny pants! No, not the tapered-leg pants that are associated with the 80's. I like the modern incarnations. :flower:

what's the difference between cigarette and straight leg?

they are really skinny and taper a bit at the bottom...an 80s phenom fer sure

i  straight leg pants...cuffed or not, paired with a hot pair of stilletos or boots they look incredible...

I don´t hate them and i do think they are a bit sexy, but on models and skinny people. Surely NOT on most of the people.

People look good in jeans that are inpaired with their own shape. On me they look awful because it make´s me look i have chicken legs!!! A huge plump on the thights and really skinny form knee down.
The same thing does´t happen with flares. They look great on me. :D

The skinnier the leg or the skinnier the pants?!

When did staight legs ever go out of style? I think that straight legs are a classic staple.

Flares may have been a fad, but straight legs never disappeared. Now tapered pants, though seen on the runways of late, will likely not be a big fad again for a looong while (thank god). People now are too addicted to flares and bootcuts.

Straight leg pants are now being tucked into this seasons boot.
They don't bunch like flared pants do.
But then again, cuffing could be alternative.

I'll say out.
At least for now.

To me, only very thin men look good in straight leg pants. I also hate when a pair of pants doesn't cover the tongue of my shoes....but that's just my personal style.

I preffer the low rise or regular waist. Love the straight leg. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! However, the high-waists need to go!
