I'm 168cm too! i think thats like 5'6 and a little bit above average so we can wear heels and also wear flats without looking too short!

I'm 5'2, but was expected to be at least 5'5. My mom is just over that and my dad is 5'10. My legs are longer in proportion to my torso though. Pants in older petite lines are too short for me, but pants at 29 1/2" for Banana Republic and 30" for J. Crew fit me fine. If I could do something about my height, I'd like to add another five inches. Two on my torso and three for my legs. I want to be considered "elegant" rather than "cute"! Short girls are always "cute" and it isn't funny when you're about to turn 27. It's also harder for "cute" women to get ahead in business.

I am 5 ft, and it causes major problems with clothes! I usually buy all my jeans from Topshop as their 30'' leg is perfect on me - however, a couple of weeks ago, I bought a really expensive pair of Replay Jeans and as they were really long (they only come in a 34'' leg), I got them shortened.

Well, they must have measured them wrong and now they are way too short! Its a total disaster, quite upsetting, and I can't help thinking this would not have been a problem if I were taller

So I guess I kind of like being short, but I do wish I had longer legs (and skinnier legs too, I have insanely muscular/chubby calves, even when I'm underweight my calves are fat )

im 5'11"-6' (need to check exactly) and i have super long legs (my boyfriend loves them). i adore being tall short is cute but i couldnt imagine being little. i tower over all of my best friends (they're 5'2" - 5'4") lol

i don't mind being short. what i do mind is people who tactlessly comment on it. is it any wonder short people want to be taller when they constantly listen to people pointing out how short they are? i really feel sorry for those who are shorter than i am and the crap they must have to put up with from tactless people. being short doesn't make you any less beautiful, doesn't stop you from looking good in clothes...it's perfectly normal just like being tall. some of the most beautiful people are short. women can't be too tall or too short without putting up with comments. it's a shame.

i'd only ever want to be tall when it comes to gigs but hey, sometimes even that works out good, you get kind people who let you go in front.

I'm 5'3", but I'm only 13, and I should end up at about 5'7".5, although I wish I was taller. All my cousins are nice and tall, 5'9+, they all pick on me, hehe. My dad is 5'11", and my mom is 5'4"/5'5", so I'm hoping I can make 5'8", but I highly doubt it.

My boyfriend is 5'6", and I can't see myself with anyone else. If I were any taller things would start looking silly because I live in heels.

My father, poor man, is only 5'2".

I'd agree, especially in Toronto and Vancouver, where there are lots of immigrants who're often smaller.
