Tall women vs short women ...

^ Yeah, esp. normal or lil over weight girls..
But the slim ones are very pretty. ^_^ Of course not 185+ ...

You mean models :p ?

Anyway, the thing I don't like to see is when the man is shorter than the woman. Something about small men... is not pleasant.

It's strange that as a male who is 189cm, I tend to be more sexually attracted to girls who are like 165cm-170cm.

Sometimes, with taller girls, you get this problem in which they look a bit strong and manly. I know a girl, for example, who is 180cm and she's totally gross because she's so big.

So that's that.

hahah well I'm 180cm too I think ... 5ft11, and I get quite a bit of male attention regarding my height, I wear heels when I go out at night which makes me just over 6ft 2. I'm not model thin either, but have never been called gross. (well not to my face). Regarding the strong comment I think I can often be seen as dominating just based on my height alone. A couple of weeks back I was talking to a guy and he said that my height was good and it was very 'whips and chains'. I don't think I've ever really came across as cute, nor would I want to be as it's just not me. I enjoy being my height, I know alot of people who are envious of my height, but at the same time I know alot who enjoy being short and 'cute'. My friends find it very easy to find me in clubs ^_^

THis thread is so interesting! To hear perspectives both positive and negative from both ends of the spectrum!
I am barely 5'7" (170) when I stand with very good posture (not all the time, I have lazy posture usually:ninja:) but I have always wished to be 5'10". I wish I could ust be happy and accepting of me exactly as I am but I always think "I would be happier if if I was X height or X weight"... I know that's rubbish but I can't let go of it. I am also the shortest person in my family. Although they aren't that tall either. My mom, dad, and brother are all between 5'9" and 5'10".

As for guys, I don't think there is a problem with either height. I just eliminate anyone too short so if anyone is guilty of being heightist, it's me.

I think the main reason for people not liking to be short is because I hate to have to tailor my pants to the 32" norm inseam. It's meant for people 5'7"-5'8" when many more people are 5'6" an under. It is reasonable to make pants longer rather than shorter, but I just hate how there isn't a pair of pants where I can wear without having to tailor them! I'm 5'6" with a 29-30" inseam. Does anyone else sympathize with me here?!

With this height and inseam, is this considered long legs/short torso or vice-versa??

And pinksatin is right, I can't stop obsessing over my height! I wish I were at least 5'7", ideally 5'8", but once you are actually that height, you would probably wish you were even taller!! And yes, I am definately a heightist...!!!! I guess it's good that I'm not too tall!! Haha.

I guess it would be average-I'm same height but even shorter inseam. I can't even wear long pants because I don't have the resources to get them tailored and have not worn pants in over 6 years.

Yes, and myself.. I'm 175cm and 54kg, tall and slim. I don't find myself manish at all, but kinda girly and cute. haha it sounds so bad talking about myself like this, sorry!!!

^ Oh and my bf is 5 cm shorter than me since he's Japanese, but i don't mind it at all. He's the sexiest guy!!!

I'm 5'8". I always get comments that I'm tall (probably because I'm Asian). But I don't feel that tall. I'm one of the shorter ones in my family. My sister is 5'11" and for a while, I wanted to be her height (I still wouldn't mind), but I've learned to accept my height.

The thing that sucks is that I have very long legs (chicken legs) and a short torso, so I always have a hard time finding pants that fit and I sometimes have a hard time fitting into cars because it's either hard for me to see over the dash, or my legs are hitting the steering wheel. But I guess I'd rather have long legs than short legs.

Im the same height and its rare for me not to wear heels when i go out at night, guys sometimes ask why are you wearing heels when your tall anyway but then they usually say that they like it 'cause it shows that im comfortable with my height lol. I don't think i'd want to be shorter.

I've never been called manly either lol but i think i might be a little intimidating because im so tall sometimes, plus i don't tend to fancy guys shorter than me which rules alot of people out lol. Also i have to bend down to hear my friends in clubs when its noisy :p

^ I'm 1.80 ,too but I hardly ever wear heels. If I do everyone looks at me like I'm an alien! I want to wear heels badly!

haha thats the good thing about being short, can wear heels (: thats why i thk better to be short, if you're short you can cover by wearing heels but if you're tall theres only flats. plus i have this thing about dating a guy shorter than me cause then you can Never wear heels right (imo cause i'd feel awkward)

but anw agree on the tailoring pants thing. super annoying! im about 160cm which is average in asia but when i want to buy branded jeans / pants then tailoring is a necessity

then again taller people usually have nicer legs so it all evens out right (:

29-30" inseam is a little on the shorter side if you're 5'6".

Im 1.73 ( 5`8) but wish I was a bit taller, ...but anyway where I live Im usually considerd being very tall...

i don't get it. why do you say that when you're tall you can't wear heels. you won't get any shorter by not wearing heels so you are a little bit taller what's the difference you are tall one way or another.:flower:

i'm 5'2 and weight 47kg and i'm invisible no one notices me because i'm just toooo small and it bothers me very much.specialy when all the clothes just hang on me. smallest nr in store still small. how annoying is that?

so i would rather be too tall then too small.

I'm 18 and 190cm (I believe that makes me on the borderline of 6'2.75-6'3) ...I grew within the past few months because I am now suddenly 2cm taller...anyway even though I think I am abnormally tall for an Indian girl, I still wear heels every so often, but I prefer flats. The only issue I have now is finding a bloke who is taller than me who I find attractive...

Thank you! I'm tall and my friend always says I shouldn't wear heels which gets me annoyed. People don't just wear heels to make them taller. There are some outfits that just wouldn't look right in flats.

I'm 5'0'' and it's starting to grow on me. I only weigh about 90 pounds, though, so I could easily pass for an 11 or 12 year old when I'm actually 15. It's ok, though, because I still feel like a little girl; I'm in no hurry to grow up or look older than I feel. :)
