welcome lmelanie! i love the fruit images..the apple one is amazing. i'd love to see more from that group!

the last bw one looks a little flat and grey..could use a tiny bit of contrast.

thanks, damon! i love the colors in the first one, and the last one has the same washed-out feeling of the first one you posted before. what do you use for that? do you shoot film or digital? also, do you go to school in sf? i went to university there.
 
I'm shooting digital. for that washed-out look, really I just play on photoshop. B) desaturate the overall image. play with exposure, shadow etc. and I go to Academy of Art majoring in advertising. which school did you go to?
 
i went to aac for a bit, but decided i didn't want to spend the money to get a useless degree (this was before they were accredited) so i got a BA in photography from state. i don't regret my decision, but i'm thinking (seriously) about going to cca and getting a masters there.

why not? go for it! :wink: and about AAU, (it's a university now) I don't know how it was before but the school has been great. This is my third year and I truly love school and people here.
 
i like that, its interesting!....and i love the expression on the model... it would be cool even without the dragonball guy :flower:
