    i also would like to give some hon. mentions to kate bush's ariel,siouxsie's mantaray,the shortwave set's the debt collection,the duke spirit cuts across the land,trentemoller's the last resort,ladytron's 604 & Light and Magic,nick cave & the bad seeds no more shall we part,bent's programmed to love,air's talkie walkie,charlotte gainsbourg's 5:55 & joanna newsom's Y's and milk-eyed mender.

    It's impossible for me to say what are the 20 best albums of the decade, because for that I had to listen to every single one, or let's say the ones from the good bands/singers. I'd definitely include Back to black by Amy Winehouse, it was definitely one of the best, also Through the Devil Softly by Hope Sandoval, also Black Holes & Revelations by MUSE and probably also Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson, kinda of enjoyed this one.

    can we change the title and such? just as soon as i posted that i begin thinking of more albums.....apart from those hon. mentions...battles,sonic youth,animal collective all begin popping into my head.

    I was wondering, could we also use 'favorite' instead of greatest? I think it'd be more comfortable.. for me anyway!, I'd feel a little guilty coming up with a list of personal faves and appearing as if I thought they were really the best of the best (even though they are of course :lol::P).

    Tried to do the 50s, Scott but just couldn't!, too many great albums, even a hundred doesn't seem like enough.

    I do love Rendez-Vous more than it appears. :angel:


    I just remembered that I forgot to include The Chemical Brothers' Come with us. I LOVE that album and it was my good companion from 02-06.. ugh.
