^Yes:D That would be great!

I found this online:
"Measurements in size M:
Bust: 68 cm. (stretchable)
Length: 52 cm."

So I think they run very small/are very fitted. I wouldn't mind a second opinion though. If the sleeves reach down to your knees etc. it probably won't work for me either:P

I dont recall it looking particulary small, but I wasn't really looking at it, as I quickly decided, that it wasnt for me  I'll check it out tomorrow.

^I would be interested in hearing why it was not for you... I won't be able to feel the material or look at the details before it arrives, and then there are return costs...

I know I am supposed to stick to 1 ppm but I ordered a striped summer dress from samsøe samsøe today. I didn't have one on my wishlist, because I don't think they will be flattering on me. I am like 80% sure it will be a dud. I ordered it anyway, because that way I can get it out of my system. My other sundress can't be worn when it is windy (which is pretty much always) so a dress like this is good in theory... I want to wear it with the Mulberry belt I don't own yet:P

boozt

I might never get the sun hat. Unless NAP do a free shipping promo, it isn't worth the price.

^nice dress!

I just though that the neckline on the breton blouse was too high for me - it wasn't anything qualitywise.

I'll have a thorough look at it when I go by the store later (hopefully), I am struggling with an exam.

________________

I actually wanted to buy the Lala Berlin net this weekend, but it seems to be sold out in black everywhere  and I still haven't decided on the breton, wether it should be in black/white or blue/white to try something different. - also I was considering trying one with short sleeves, since it is something that I want for summerwear. Decissions, decissions.

Thanks:smile: I prefer a high crew neck, so that's good news for me!

I actually considered getting a striped tee instead as well... A lot of longsleeves have very ugly/poor quality stitching in the sleeve. But buying short sleeves will mean I need to apply more sunscreen so it is a bit of a wash...

I love that you are torn between blue and black stripes. That is just the kind of "big" problem I would have!

Hope everything works out with your exam:flower:

@Eizhowa: I went by the store yesterday. I didnt have time to try it on, but the xs would have been tight fitting on me, the small would probably have fit similar to the picture you showed - I am normally always a xs - and then things are not tight fitting

::::::::::::::::

Anyone know if there is such a thing as fake missoni headbands? I am going to buy one 2nd hand, and I dont know wether I should be cautious.

That dress looks so luxe Nymphaea!

Betina: Thank you anyway! I think I will pass on the breton top. I think I will look for a short sleeve instead. I don't feel like spending a lot of money on another striped top right now.

I don't think there are a lot of fake missoni headbands... Not high quality fakes at any rate, and especially not in Scandinavia... You should be able to feel it if it is a fake... What material is made from?

I recieved the Samsøe Samsøe breton dress today... and I love it... It can be worn casually without a belt, but it flatters my figure more if I belt it at the hip. It gives it more shape, and my legs don't look as short. The 4/5 sleeves are very flattering as well:smile: I can make do with a scarf as a belt for now, but I definitly want a leather belt at some point. A belt looks more polished than a scarf:wink: A belt is definitly priority number one, but unless something pops up at a second hand store... With a black belt, I could probably also wear it with tights in the winter... hmmm...

Wishlist:
1. Black Mulberry belt
2. Gold necklace (August item)
3. Black Silk/wool eyelash scarf

..and maybe that NAP-hat...

Have you gotten a lot of wear out of your striped &otherstories dress Betina? I think you bought it in the early fall, but maybe it is more a S/S dress?

^thank you. I havent seen it IRL, I am supposed to meet up with the seller. She has a lot of good ratings, and she has packshots of the headband. It is still with tags. But I havent ever seen a missoni headband IRL, so I have no clue if Ill be able to spot a fake one. But in the pictures, it looks great.

Glad you like the dress! Looks really nice. I havent worn mine a lot. I dont really like the shape on me - I dont find it very flattering unfortunately. I am considering selling it, but my biyfriend loves it.

I would think you should be easily able to discern from the quality of the knit ...

Thank you, Betina:flower: Love that your BF appreciates stripes!:D

I think you will be able to tell if the headband is of bad quality as well:wink:

^well, it is nice that someone else feels confident about my skills  I don't, but I guess I'll manage.

@Eizhowa: I don't think it is the stripe as much as the cut, which I find really, really odd

I have a white blouse on my SS list (something Isabel Marant like or with broderie anglaise), and I have managed to find 1 candidate - and a dress that I really like. The top cost three times as much as the dress, and I am also thinking that a dress might be better for summer, since that is mostly what I wear - whereas I probably wouldn't get a lot of wear out of a white dress, during the winter - but on the other hand, I don't think I would with a blouse either.

I think broderie anglaise is one of those things where the quality really shows, and so there's definitely a payoff for spending the extra money on it. In fact, I have a hard time buying it now, knowing what the good stuff looks like

I'm assuming that from your thrifting you probably have a good gauge of quality. I think that's where I picked up a lot of my skills ... I think it's a good idea to get exposure to things that are more expensive than you can afford--at full price anyway. I think there's night and day difference between low-end and high-end knits, so I would think what is and isn't Missoni should hopefully be immediately obvious ...

Oh, the blouse isn't broderie anglaise, I forgot to mention that. Good point though. I have seen pictures of it on a blog though (the dress, the blouse Ive seen IRL), and although it is not the same, I think it looks fine - it is not cheap-cheap neither, but I will have to see it IRL to decide.

I actually hadn't considered what you are saying in regards of using the headbands quality as a pointer - that is a very good point, and I think I should be able to detect something like that  thank you.

^Very nice, it must be great to be able to make your own clothes!

The knitted blazer on my wishlist is replaced by a grey jersey blazer I got for my birthday (as seen on pinterest). It's perfect as a casual blazer, just what I was aiming for with the knitted one (that ended up looking a bit cheap in real life).

In may I will probably buy either the Rivieras or the Acne shorts (still haven't tried them on though), depending on what the weather brings. So far my wardrobe is working great this spring. I'm also really enjoying my Dries van Noten cardigan and t-shirt. ^_^

@Nymphaea: wow, you're good! Such a nice dress.

@Fewormany: sounds like a nice blazer!

I got my Missoni headband a couple of days ago, and I really like it. The quality of the knit is nice and heavy and the "color"-combo is perfect for me. It was just what I needed at this point, since I am stuck in a wardrobe rut and feel like all of my clothes are sooo boring. I think it is due to the fact that I am SO ready for spring clothes, but it is still not warm enough, so I am always wearing jeans and a sweater  The headband is my first addition this month, besides for a really nice drape cupro t-shirt that I got for my b-day. It looks a lot nicer IRL - very flattering.

So far I've bought 5 items this year. I am really happy with that since it is a lot less compared to my average for last year. I haven't made any goals or plans for this seasons though - I feel like maybe I should do that, since I feel like I need to add a few things. Also I have realized I should get better at buying things that are not neccesarily statement-y, but at least with some good details, like the headband and the top, since I feel like that is what I need to make my wardrobe feel less boring and basic. E.g. buying boots with buckels/studs instead of plain boots.

Yesterday I was at a big flea market and I sold a lot of stuff and earned quite some money. I had an entire moving box full og clothes with me and only 5 items to take with me when I went home. Also I did not buy anything - felt so nice to finally clear out all of the stuff I have had in storage, and I also got rid of some of those things, that I have had a hard time of letting go of.

Seems like nothing can make me prioritize making wardrobe plans, like when I actually have to write an exam:

My SS15 list:

Definetly buying
- Lala Berlin Tote
- Stripe tee - I've decided that I want one with black/white stripes and long sleeves, and I am probably going with narrow stripes.
- White Birkenstock Arizona Sandals
- Blue, white or blue/white stripe shirt. I sold my blue InWear shirt yesterday - it was simply not working for me, but I still want a good shirt. It just need to be in a none-sheer quality and cotton - no silk or other things, that cant be machinewashed.

Considering:
- The Iro jacket, if I can find it on sale (or some other boucléjacket)
- A white cotton blouse (slightly boho-ish but not too much) or a white dress.

Also I might keep my eyes open for a flowy floral dress, a short sleeve stripe tee and shorts - I am going on Roskilde Festival for the first time this year, so I think theyll come in handy.

Aaaaand, I got a Day Birger et Mikkelsen wash bag for my birthday - another thing that I can cross of my list.

Enough talking to myself and now back to that exam..

^I know how you feel about wardrobe planning and exams:D I get just like that. Expect my wishlist to explode within the next 1-2 months:P

Looks like a great wishlist, Betina! I know I am supposed to hate Birks, and if anyone I know in real life asks, I still do, but I do have a secret softspot for those white ones you posted...

Uhm... what do you mean silk can't be machinewashed?:innocent:
