i wonder if they're showing a fake or real bag in that photo you posted. that's the issue i was having. a "replica" seller sent me photos of his bags, but they look a little too good. i think he may have sent me photos of the real bag, which is why i posted it here.

hmm i doubt it.. dont think thats true for this site. they have a forum/board where the customers come and post their pictures etc. well i guess if you are saying that the company's making up a non existant customer to promote their bag, maybe. whatever. im not related to site so i guess i cant really guarantee anything :ninja:

why dont you ask that sam wu person to send you more pics of the bag to see if the pictures are his or not? and ask him to guarantee that his bag will be exactly same as the one in the pic..?
though if you are really worried that what you're gonna get is not whats shown in the picture, i dont think you should bother buying from this seller...:flower:

Just a general question, theres heaps of DH jeans on eBay and often they reach ridiculous amounts, so a certain amount of these must be fakes right?
I haven't seen any that I thought were fakes. But I really don't know. I'd like to see examples of some fake ones.

Seven jeans..

How do you identify fake Seven jeans?
I know about the security number and silver thing,
but they can be fake too right?

^ Tags and serial no. etc can all be easily faked.
Ages ago I bought a pair of jeans from ebay but regretted it and have never bought anymore since. I didnt even wear them because I think they are probabaly fake..I dont know what I should do with them now.

That Balenciaga bag looks so real! Fakes are so good these days :ninja:

Keep in mind for the future that there is now a Fake/Authentic thread pinned in the handbags section! :)

Marc by Marc Jacobs top

I've seen this in Blue Multi online but not red/coral. Can anyone verify that this is real?

I can't imagine that anyone would fake a Marc by Marc top like that. 99.9999999999999% chance that it's real. ;) I wouldn't worry.

could anyone tell me if this is authentic or not.

I'm not a big Dior expert, but the construction of that waistcoat is sufficiently elaborate that I find it highly doubtful it would be fake. The quality of the cloth, the fitting of the zippers...it must be real.

Also, the seller is based in France, not one of the counterfeit hotspots like HK or Singapore, and it's a very low-volume seller. Despite the many Dior Homme fakes on eBay (mostly shirts and jeans), I get good vibes from this one.

My experience with ebay is that most of the designer bags are fake. The ones that are expensive are probably real (and some of them are even more expensive than if you just bought it in a store) but anyone selling something like an LV for a couple hundred dollars is selling a knock off, and often not a very good one. I had a few bad experiences with fakes and had to threaten the sellers with reporting them before they'd agree to take them back - I am NOT interested in fake bags. :yuk: Rule of thumb is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Then I shopped at the designer the outlets in Italy and realized that I could buy a real Gucci bag for the price of the fakes on ebay, and I never bought on ebay again! :D

if it's from asia, i'd say yes it is fake ... i'm always suspicious of pics that try to be too 'professional' with the mannequin and all... makes me think they make a business of producing fakes, ESPECIALLY from anywhere in asia.
as for the color and style... i don't even think it was produced in that color/print...

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, but when I found it I was in LOVE  I adore fashion and clothes and accessories... Although I'm 16 lol.

I've been looking for a good winter coat...Can you tell me if this Maxmara coat is authentic? It's from Shanghai, China. I know China makes a lot of fakes, but Shanghai has a lot of real designer boutiques and the economy is better. Also a lot of people there actually buy real designer items, not the nasty fakes...

I think this looks pretty real, can anyone help me?

It's 95% wool and 5% cashmere, and the collar is fox hair.

Thanks!!

chanel belt: authentic or not??

hi there, i found this at an antique store but cant tell 100% if its real. the quilted part is black lambskin backed in a faux leather on the inside. although it has the CC's on it, there is not stamp or anything. to me it looks like a vintage piece, what do you think??

Got hand me down Gucci belts - real or fake?

My sister got 2 hand-me-down Gucci belts from a friend and gave them to me since she didn't want them. They are a bit tarnished but if they are real I might sell or give them away. Can anyone tell? I am not a Gucci expert.

i recognise the belt in the 2nd picture- but ssince they can be so easily faked- the feel of the leather and sitching (rather than the buckle) is a better indication of authenticity.
