The 'Authentication' Thread

Is this real. don't think it is, but if it isn't could someone please please please post a pic of a real one??? :D

^^^ Like I said in a previous lengthy post, it's not all about how the item looks - it's about feedback (neg and positive), where the seller is based, and the other items they sell blah blah.

The fake purses look pretty identical to the real ones...

Thanks for the response, I didn't read your lengthy post, have done now though. The user is relatively new, 5 things sold, but their shipping from hong kong so me thinks its not really. I don't suppose you'd know where I could get some info on this coin baG?

The shipping from Hong Kong would make me say it was definitely fake. It's a tiny coin purse, there's not a lot they can do that will make a fake differ to the real one (and the real ones fall apart pretty quickly too :innocent: )

Here are pics of real ones (from Hervia.com)

Thanks for that, I appreciate it. I love it anyway, I knew it would be because of the hong kong shipping.

You're welcome Boho :flower: There seems to be a shocking amount of Westwood coin purses on Ebay just now  and some of them aren't even getting bids at £1.99!!!

Honestly, I've had quite a few coin purses and wallets from Westwood and they all seem to get really shabby and fall apart quickly. Maybe I'm trying to cram too many two pences into mine  but I've never been too impressed with the quality. If I was paying £1.99 I wouldn't have anything to complain about though!

I know lol, I've just bought one for £10 postage and package included, and if its a fake, no one that I know will know. They won't realise so it doesn't amtter to me.

Hi everyone! I was wondering, are the following websites really selling authentic goods? www.elementofstyle.com
www.luxurychoices.com

A very good friend of mine wants to purchase her first designer bag... She wants a dior Saddle bag. She was going to purchase one at the dior store or at eluxury.com, but found better prices at the above websites... What do you all think? Of course, they guarantee authenticity, not that this ever means anything!! I have never heard of either website, and was wondering what you resident experts have heard or might think. I would hate for her first purchase to end up being fake...
Thanks a lot!

I think they are fake because there are loads of websites selling fake designer goods. Tell your friend to buy it from eluxury.

^No clue.

I don't know a lot about Jil Sander. I'm assuming these are authentic, but I thought I might as well check here first.

the black box white card and stickers are definately legit, but those boots must be old or something i dont think jils had anything like that for a few seasons or so, so i couldnt tell ya 100%.

Does anyone know if seller jujube89 on ebay sells authentic Chloe? The seller has a Chloe dress from this season in a couple of sizes with tags. Is it a fake?
Also, is anyone familiar with a Chloe dress which is a blush shade with large streams of pearls connecting the shoulders? The dress also has pearls attached on the fabric? Do you know what season is it?

^ I'd be wary of that seller..the fact they they are selling Chloe dresses for so cheap makes me question their authenticity.

^I agree. Who the hell would start bidding on a real Dior top at $19.80? I would NOT buy from that seller.
