^my HD darkened the top a bit by using my root touch up color as 'low lights'. i wanted more balance because before the top was getting lighter when the bottom was progressing really slowly like a *turtle turtle*

^bottom right, where the 'my ash' peeks out. the Inguna photo in post #357 was the guidline for the bottom parts of my hair

new lighter root touch up. here is my hair parted closer to the middle to show you guys how there are less 'low lights' when worn this way(i actually wore a deep side part today so my baby hairs are fighting to go different ways like an asterisk * lol)

i was just wondering has anyone done their hair strawberry blonde?
i am thinking of diluting some manic panic dye in a bucket and just dipping my head in it hahaha.
if you have australian vogue this month one of the editorials has this beautiful model with candy floss hair! amazing!

oh yeah i was reading this thread and i guess i am the classic case of gone too far and cant / WON'T go back!! i love being platinum blonde and all the heckles and abuse that come with it. haha.

^Is that you in the picture? Woah, you managed to make your hair really white, I love it! I imagine your biggest hassle is preventing brassiness and touching up your roots. What I like about your overall coloring is that you have no pretences about it looking natural, so that frees you to be as experimental as you like. I've been strawberry blonde, and as with all reddish colors, it's better to leave it to a hairstylist, especially one that has experience with reds. And definitely bring pictures of what you want, as strawberry blonde could mean a number of shades.

Kissablekae, you may be hiding yourself under a halo of blonde, but I'm guessing you are one hot girl. Your hair looks so silky, and the color is purdy.

im glad my hair is getting fuller again too! im still growing out that bad cut(supposed 'trim') from October. my hairdresser had to go back for seconds for the bleach and the toner, she kept saying 'i forget you have so much hair'! then i was like 'i love you Amber(HD), that is like music to my ears, keep saying it ' hahahaha

& Amber is happy that my hair is so strong, no lawsuits okay?!

my friend says my hair has definitely grown yae! but i cant wait till it gets back to above navel length. then i can fully cover my boobs like in the Inguna photo and i'll never be indecent lol

what do you mean by strawberry like warm blonde(red tones) or pink? because you mention cotton candy...you can search in Scarlett Johansson's thread for her old Louis Vuitton campaign for reference, she had light pink hair. ive only had pink through Jerome Russell's temporary hair sprays, its was pretty neat because Gwen Stefani had it too

i had strawberry blonde hair in the beginning of this long blonding process but i didnt love it on me *scrunches face* i went from dark to strawberry so i wouldnt know how to advise on going from your light shade to strawberry but of course leave it up to the pro's!

i agree with your advice to bring in pictures, dealing with reds is tough and can be quite hard to fix if it doesnt go right *eep*

i think Snejana Onopka is a good candidate to consider if its a natural looking strawberry. she wears it sooo well! i actually hated having strawberry blonde for a while but since Snejana is one of my all time favorite models, it comforted me to see her hair looking like mine!

yes sorry that is my own picture of me. i am lucky my eyebrows are faint and have to colour them in.
i am so scared of hairdressers though... last time my hair fell out and it took a year over just to correct the length. i do my hair myself.

edit : Blondie, lucky you have light brows! mine make me feel so high maintanence. my sisters have light brows, i swear they can use makeup to make their brows whatever color they want like purple, blue, green etc lol

yeah i would be scared to do light pink at a salon, a lot of them them dont even play around with crazier colors. but arent manic haircolors super bright? how will you dillute it? it seems like you want a softer whitened pink. if you could find a nice pink tint that rinses out gradually that sounds safer.

i just had a funny thought. CallingBlondie have you ever thought of temporarily tinting your hair with purple shampoo? some people say theirs get a faint purple look but its it pretty at all or is it really dull/weird? i dont know of any pink shampoos though.

kissablekae hiii, i use a brand of shampoo here called delorenzo and it is DEEP purple . it looks good and they haave another which is rose but it makes my hair go a shade darker :S yeh i just thought i will buy the manic panic cotton candy pink and put it in a bucket and dilute with water then tip my head in it i'll post pictures if i do it next week!

they actually pulled off the black and white hair, the styling for both is very good.

i love Sasha & her hair as well. im not sure if i posted this photo in here yet but its definitely one of my favorites of her. this color is amazing on her, Sasha always makes me think of fairytales or something magical.
