The Business of Magazines

Danica Kovárová named head of editorial content of Vogue Czechoslovakia:

Alexander Bel named creative and visual director:

Milena Zuravljova named fashion director:

Did Vogue CS go from an EIC to a Head of Editorial Content despite not being owned fully by Condé Nast?

This documentary news isnt anywhere (that I can see) on the UK or US Vogue websites...

What does it have to do with the business of magazines?

Many people assume it will serve the supermodels to be in future Vogue magazine covers and since it's news I thought it was the right place.
However if the webmasters or Squad leaders believe there's a better place of this then I guess they will move this to another thread.

Any speculation about what will happen the European Vogues after EE's departure? He has VI, VP, VG and VS under his supervision.

My guess is that British Vogue will just fall under Anna Wintour's complete control, and unfortunately morph into an after-thought like what Vogue France and Vogue Italia have become. The magazine may be still a priority given its current status but I'm doubtful for it's future with Enninful out.

Condé could install someone at the helm of British Vogue who would have some experience in dealing with the Euro editions - like Vanessa Kingori. I have no doubt in my mind Enninful is rooting for Kingori and Sarah Harris as his replacement.

I'm still not convinced a Vogue Europe will come to fruition, like rumors have been suggesting for a number of months. Not sure how a Vogue Europe would work... when there would be a Vogue Portugal and so forth floating around. Unless, however, Condé Nast were to revoke all the licensing agreements with the likes of Vogue Poland which I doubt.

It's all just so up in the air at the present moment with tons of uncertainty...

Kingori is above Edward so become a Head of editorial content is downgrade

Roger Lynch really didn't think it through now, did he? He was supposed to create the new era of Condé Nast and he eventually destroyed its legacy ahahaahah.

I have to say though that I'm amazed by how little vision and preparation went into this ''re-envisioning'' of Vogue worldwide and getting rid of top Vogue's editors-in-chief across the globe.

Don't they have teams worldwide with thousands and thousands of dollars to actually map this plan out before making it happen ???

Nobody told Roger the risks or consequences it would have ???

No idea where to ask, buuut... who owns the archives to W Magazine? I found an old W Magazine book from 1987 at a used bookstore this weekend, and I have questions...

Yes, it's this book from 1987: The Designing Life.

It features different designers with a ton of articles about them in each respective section. The issue I have with the book (lol) is that the articles are: a) not dated beyond a year ; b) sometimes are fragments ; c) are not credited to an author (unless it's John Fairchild's pseudonym, and I think one quote credited to Patrick McCarthy). And the articles are from W, not WWD (so those archives are no help!). I really want to figure out which issues these original articles came from, so I can terrorize the library of my ~alma mater~ and have them find these articles for me via inter-library loan. They must love it when they see another request from me come through their system.
