I just realized, Alex and Camilla under one magazine..again.
This time though, it's the major one.

VOGUE will launch in the Ukraine within the next 12 months, following a new license partnership with one of the region's leading media companies, UMH Group.
"The Ukraine is ready for Vogue," said Condé Nast International chairman and chief executive Jonathan Newhouse. "Kiev is booming, and there is a strong market demand for luxury products and the experience Vogue can offer the reader."
Members of Vogue Ukraine's editorial team have not yet been confirmed. It will be the 20th edition of the magazine worldwide.
"A partnership with Condé Nast is a great honour and responsibility for UMH Group," said president of UMH Group Boris Lozhkin. "This will take the media business in Ukraine to a new level, while the launch of Vogue has great significance for the entire luxury market."

fashionista.comCondé Nast Is Reportedly Forbidding Photographers and Editors From Working With Carine Roitfeld on her New Magazine
Carine Roitfeld‘s new fashion glossy CR is set to launch this September, and the fashion industry is pretty excited to see what she’ll dish up. Well, everyone except Condé Nast, that is, if a report in Page Six is to be believed.
According to the gossip column, Condé’s chairman Jonathan Newhouse has sent correspondence to photographers and editors “ordering” them not to work with Carine. Apparently he sent word to Mario Testino, Craig McDean, David Sims and the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott team to “remind” them that they have exclusive agreements to shoot for Condé mags only. We had already heard that Testino wouldn’t be a part of the mag, but it sounds like Condé may be concerned that its other marquee names may de-camp over to Carine, who obviously has many friend in the industry. Page Six‘s source also told the paper that even those not under contractual obligation have been “discouraged” from working with Carine.
“Everyone is buzzing about the Condé roadblocks against Carine,” one “fashion insider” said. “People love Carine but are more frightened of the Condé Nast machine.” We already know of one Conde decampment for CR, Teen Vogue‘s Shiona Turini, and we hear that Turini didn’t leave under the best of terms.
Neither Condé nor Carine’s reps responded to Page Six, but this doesn’t sound that farfetched. The circumstances surrounding Carine’s exit from Vogue Paris hinted at a disagreement with the powers that be at Condé, and she’s still a sought-after editor, despite the fact that she’s branched out on her own.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Because, what about advertisers? We can’t help but wonder if brands–who would hate (read: can’t afford) to lose the support of Anna Wintour and the Condé machine–may be strong-armed into not working with CR Fashion Book.
wwdVogue Sets Edition in Thailand
LONDON —Vogue will launch in print and digital versions in Thailand in 2013, said Jonathan Newhouse, chairman and chief executive of Condé Nast International.
The publisher has signed a licensing agreement to publish the title in partnership with Serendipity Media Co. Ltd., a new Thai company established for this venture.
Newhouse said Thailand has a "well-established media market, and there's a strong appetite for luxury fashion and beauty among its sophisticated urban consumers. The time is now right for Vogue."
Kullawit Laosuksri, who served as editor-in-chief of Elle Thailand for nine years, is editor of the latest edition of Vogue. Nigel Oakins, a publisher with experience in Thailand and the Asia region, has been named executive chairman of Serendipity Media Co. Ltd, while Siri Udomritthiruj, previously managing director of The Post Publishing magazine division, has been named chief executive.
James Woolhouse, president of Condé Nast Asia-Pacific said: “We are pleased to work with Nigel Oakins and Siri Udomritthiruj, two experienced and well-respected media professionals.
“Editorially, Kullawit Laosuksri has an unparalleled knowledge of the fashion and beauty market, and excellent relationships with both local and international fashion brands. The stage is set for the arrival of Vogue, the pre-eminent fashion media brand, in Thailand,” he added.
Oakins noted that Thailand has a lively local fashion scene, "with many top designers starting to break through both regionally and internationally, so the timing is perfect.”
Vogue Thailand will be the twenty-first Vogue worldwide. Vogue also plans to launch in Ukraine next year, as reported.
Honestly, if you're going to give countries like Thailand or Ukraine a Vogue...how about Denmark/Swede/Scandinavia!? These countries are the hubs of innovation especially in design so I just don't get it!
