The Face with Naomi Campbell

oooh, so the other "supermodel coaches" have not been announced. i think, then, it's safe to say that it won't be Coco and KK. otherwise, they'd be mentioned. but Karolina WON the competition this year. she should be back for Round 2!

^ I don't think they have decided who the other 2 coaches will be or they haven't reach an agreement with KK and/or Coco. But I agree KK should come back. She was great. I think they should replace Coco. She was "meh" and not b/c her team never won a challenge but b/c I don't think she was a good coach. We can't all be good at everything.

I agree, Coco didn't really connect. Naomi, surprisingly, showed very sincere and almost motherly (with tough love, of course) with her girls. KK was also caring. I want to see KK again. And I want to see guests judges.

^ Coco did connect with her girls they were all crying when she cried because she had to let one of them go. Her modeling is unique to her but realistically they have the freedom to themselves.

^ I agree, I thought Coco connected well with the contestants but she wasn't a very good mentor. I don't think she fully understood everybody is different. Just b/c certain techniques & etc. work for her doesn't mean it's going to work for everyone else. It is a mentor's "job" to figure out what works best for each person, and help them bring it out & highlight it.

‘Face’ loses Naomi rival

As Naomi Campbell gears up to film the second season of her Oxygen reality show, “The Face,” in New York, we hear one of her first- season co-coaches and team rival Karolina Kurkova won’t be rejoining her. Sources tell us the Czech model and mother of a son, Tobin, 3, can’t be part of it because she has other work commitments. While Oxygen told us they and Campbell haven’t made any announcements about Season 2, a rep for Kurkova — who has appeared in magazine and ad campaigns for Roberto Cavalli and Net-a -Porter — told Page Six, “She appreciates everything the show did for her. She had a great experience and wishes them well.” “The Face” also stars photographer Nigel Barker as its host.

^ just read that too, maybe because the show isn't paying enough to put up with the 2 to 3 month commitment time, and it wasn't enough to put up with Naomi? :-)

Coco Rocha is also no longer returning:
New York, September 2 (ANI): Speculations are rife that Coco Rocha, a judge on Naomi Campbell's model reality-competition show 'The Face,' has backed out from the show's upcoming season due to the English supermodel's diva-like behavior that has caused strife between the two.
According to previous reports by the New York Post, Rocha's polite, hardworking persona clashed with Campbell's attitude.
A source told the publication that Rocha clearly knows Campbell doesn't like her.
The insider asserted that after fulfilling her first-season commitments, Rocha didn't want to subject herself to more abuse and opted out of the show.
However, a rep for Shine, which produces the programme, said that the transition has actually been in the works for some time and a formal announcement is expected soon.
The spokesperson asserted that Campbell and her team have found two new supermodels that will be appearing for the upcoming season. (ANI)

Maybe some veterans like Carmen Kass or Isabeli can step in? Queen Kass can show those newbies how catwalk is done

No Angela L. or Carolyn Murphy please. They were on Project Runway, and both put me to sleep with their "hellllllloooooo dessssssignnnnnnners". Their speech is like Karlie Kloss's walk during her first season.

Anne V & Lydia Hearst are the new coaches!!!
Anne V and Lydia Hearst to Join Naomi Campbell as Supermodel Coaches for 'The Face' Season 2

Exciting news for The Face fans! Oxygen just announced that Anne V and Lydia Hearst will join fellow supermodel and executive producer Naomi Campbell as the supermodel coaches on Season Two of The Face. Anne Vyalitsyna, or simply Anne V, has graced the cover of Vogue, the runways of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Prada, and the pages of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue just to name a few points on her impressive resume. Lydia Hearst has been featured in dozens of international ad campaigns for Prada, NARS, and SAKS Fifth Avenue amidst many others. Also an actress, you may have seen Hearst in indie films such as "Two Jacks" or on television on Gossip Girl. Get to know more about the supermodel coaches with the full press release below.

NEW YORK, NY – September 3, 2013 - Oxygen Media announced that supermodels Anne V and Lydia Hearst will join worldwide icon and executive producer Naomi Campbell as supermodel coaches on the sophomore season of critically acclaimed modeling competition series “The Face.”

The series returns with host Nigel Barker in a new expanded role, as a confidante and advisor to the 12 supermodel hopefuls. “The Face” goes beyond the glamour as three iconic supermodel coaches battle it out to find the newest face of a well-known, national brand. Produced by Shine America, season two is scheduled to premiere in early 2014 with ten episodes. “The Face” is fast becoming a global phenomenon. Since its debut on Oxygen earlier this year, local versions of the show with Campbell have been announced in both the UK for Sky Living and Australia for Foxtel.

“Anne V and Lydia are passionate, accomplished and highly regarded supermodels in the fashion industry,” said Rod Aissa, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. “Bringing in two new coaches for season two of “The Face” alongside the legendary Naomi Campbell gives our cast of hopefuls the ultimate opportunity to learn from the industry’s best.”

"We are thrilled to welcome Anne V and Lydia to 'The Face,' which is fast becoming a global phenomenon," says Shine America President and "The Face" Executive Producer Eden Gaha. "Alongside Naomi, our supermodel coaches will make an incredible team of mentors for a new group of hopeful models. This upcoming season promises to be truly compelling."

“The Face” gives viewers unprecedented access inside the world of the fashion industry as three teams of aspiring models, each led by a supermodel coach, are guided through real life assignments, including photo shoots and commercials. Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches mentor young hopefuls using the lessons and skills they have learned to guide their teams through challenges that accurately depict what it takes to have a career as a model and be the face of a brand. The models will be exposed to the biggest and most influential names in the industry who appear throughout the show to help judge and lend their expertise. In the end, only one girl will be chosen to become ‘The Face’ of a major national brand, earning a real contract as the brand ambassador.

I'm sorry but Anne V. and Lydia Hearst are not supermodels but Karolina and Coco are!!! Naomi didn't want the competition and both K and C didn't want to put up with her anger issues anymore, that's why N purposely chose models with less prestige.

Those two are obviously several steps down from the likes of KK and Coco. They better bring the crazy.

anne v, and Lydia who?

coco has becoming one of the most famous models these days. she is featured on people website all the time.

at the end, la diva Naomi hasn't really learned her lesson.
