The Fashion Spot picks for F/W 11.12 best collections

Antonio Marras
Alexander McQueen
Lanvin
Ann Demeulemeester

Is there a limit to how many we can post :p
I thought this season was much stronger than the spring collections. I generally like fall clothing better. This season I started enjoying designers that I had become indifferent to like Vanessa Bruno and Anne Valerie Hash.

Vanessa Bruno: I can't even remember her spring collection. It will be very easy to incorporate any of the runway looks into your own style.

Anne Valerie Hash: Finally, this is the Anne I know. I didn't really understand what direction she was going about before.

They may not be the most exciting designers but Ive always been a fan of the 'well kept' look and I feel the following did a good job for that particular aesthetic that I dont seem to tire of

I'm not sure if I really liked anything to make a Top list because I cannot remember anything. It was, in reality, another flat season.

Perhaps it would be (in no particular order):
Isabel Marant
Prada
Balenciaga

oh I forgot to add Hermès! Such a great collection and great move forward for the brand IMO

CHLOE,
Celine,
GUCCI(thought, I would never say that...)
YSL,
Mary Katrantzou,
Jil Sander,
Simone Rocha,

^Truth, Lemaire did a great job

furthermore;
Haider Ackermann
Jason Wu
Ann deMeulemeester
Balenciaga
Mary Katrantzou
Jonathan Saunders
Giambattista Valli
Margiela

Haider Ackermann

The darker jewel tones are stunning, and I love the textures!

I have to admit, this season was quite disappointing for me. A lot of my fav houses didn't really deliver.. or maybe I was being more picky this season?
Anyway:
  • Antonio Marras
  • Jil Sander
  • J. Mendel
  • Jonathan Saunders
  • Junya Watanabe
  • Loewe

Probably one of the most lamest fashion week seasons ever. There was no emotion at all overall. Just a season of nice & lovely clothes sent down the runway. My top favorite brands (Proenza, Balenciaga, Chanel, Missoni) disappointed me.

Like many others I felt that season had a handful of highlights. I'm only mentioning the ones that come to mind without looking back at pictures.

NY:
1. Prozona Schuler
2. Rag&Bone
3. DKNY

London:
-

Milan:
1. Emilio Pucci
2. Fendi

Paris:
1. Haider Ackermann
2. Ann Demeulemeester
3. Pedro Lourenço
4. Alexander McQueen
5. Celine

Most cities didn't even produce a top 5 list for me:ninja:
