The How Do I Get This Look? Thread

Thanks sofialuv for the contouring advice, you're amazing! Do you have any ideas about the hair? thanks babe

 Thanks! You´re welcome! :flower:

I don´t have much experience in hair, but i would suggest that while it´s wet, twist it in sections and let it dry either naturally or with a diffuser.
Then when it´s dry, just shake it a bit and undo the twisted sections with your hands and only then use a bit of hairspray or just a tiny bit of wax to smooth down any frizzies on the top to accentuate the middle hair line.

sofialuv you are a goddess!! thanks so much for the tips- i really do appreciate all your advice! and you are so sweet about it too ::HEART::

Can anyone suggest a lipgloss from MAC thats similar to hers and the Cream blush? (Right pic)Thanks

Those lipglosses are 2 colours, an orangey colour on the left and a hot fuschia on the right.
I have a mac lipglass in suculent that is similar to the one on the left. ;)

...but i would dare to say that in the pic it´s a lipstick topped with gloss. Either that or some gloss with more pigment, kind of a liquid lipstick.

Where can I get this lovely golden eye-shadow that Keira has on? Her eye makeup is so sultry and beautiful:heart:

upthebracket please post the source of the picture as it is tFS policy, pictures without proper source will unfortunately be deleted :flower:
As for the eyeshadow she's wearing I'm pretty sure it's not one but a layer of eye shadows..
a neutral on the entire lid
a bordeaux-brown (it looks to me like it's a matte ?)
topped with a golden bronze brown..
or a bronze brown and a golden eyeshadow

Does anyone know how they get the models in shows to have no dark shadows under their eyes whatsoever? I tried doing it a few ways but I can never get the same flawlessness!

Like this! (www.style.com)

^ I don't know for sure but I've heard raves about touch-up concealers like Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat that supposedly do a pretty good job of covering those under-eye circles. Maybe they use something like that on the runway? :flower:

Hemorrhoid creme is said to be used by model to diminish under eye shadows (be careful not to use this too frequently because it is not healthy for the delicate under eye tissue)
Industrial strenght concealer like CoverFX is something you might want to look into. :flower:

For the record, I think her eyebrows look hideous.

Can someone help me with a make up breakdown of Natalie's look here?
Mainly the foundation.
It looks so smooth and it doesn't seem like she's used too much powder to set or else it would have looked matte.
How did she get 'glow'? :flower:
