The How Do I Get This Look? Thread

Hemorrhoid creme is said to be used by model to diminish under eye shadows (be careful not to use this too frequently because it is not healthy for the delicate under eye tissue)

The hemorroid cream is to depuff the eyes, not to remove under eye shadows.

VainJane: The Touche Eclat does not make a good job in covering under eye circles. And in makeup i´ve never seen anyone ever using it for that, and i´m pretty sure it´s never used on runways because 1- it´s not a concealer 2-it doesn´t cover!

I really want to find out how to achieve these curls

I heard some people say they used it for undereye circles but I guess the people who raved about it didn't have really bad undereye circles then. They seemed to like it a lot anyway.

Oh well, so much for trying to help!

Yeah, with bad eye circles you have to use a concealer with a good amount of pigment.
The touche eclat doesn´t have much but what is does also is to reflect the light, so for not so dark under eye circles it work, not for runway or photography. Also, in photography reflects the light so what it gives is some panda eyes! :D

It looks so simple, but I am hopeless with anything but super natural looks on me...
Could you suggest any colors/products by e.g. MAC or any wide available brands to achieve this look?

I have the same hair, but my eyes are a much lighter green than hers with a more "yellowish" tone whereas she has more blueish eyes.

Thanks a lot for any input!:flower:

VersaceGirl: I'm not sure about the blush, but I think above the area with the blush, she is also wearing some highlighter.
I use Magician by Red Earth, and it has pretty much this glowy effect because the sparkle is very fine.

Does anyone know how to do this makeup? Possibly in MAC colors?
Thanks :)

^ I think it depends on what products you use or if you go to a stylist for that. From personal experience, I'd reccomend going to a stylist. I've tried the whole bleach thing and there's a lot more involved than you'd think. My hair has a tendancy to go red (even though I'm a natural brunette), so everytime I used a blonde product it would go red instead of blonde. Then, I'd have to find a product to counter the red and then, at the end of the day I've spent tons of money and my hair is bleached within an inch of its life.

I'd definitely get a professional to dye your hair...especially if it's your first time. And then, if you want to try doing it at home with the store-bought kits (touch-ups, etc.) you can get some really great advice from your colorist.

Does anyone know how to do the eye make up of the blonde? I think it's really hot but I don't know how to do that. Can you tell what colors/products were used? Also if you could describe any techniques or where to apply what product I could totally use the help. I do very simple/subtle eyeshadow normally and I want to spice it up for a concert. Merci!:flower:

@saraab: google isn't a valid source :P but this one is: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/darkfairii/cc.jpg

to the makeup: MAC Carbon e/s, Smolder eye khol, velvetone eyebrow pencil, a bronzer color that suits your skin tone... search for the smoky eye, must be explained somewhere in this thread..

@pinksatin: you're also asking for the smoky eye technique. I'd recommand MAC print e/s which is dark grey as the pictured one, other than that black khol and mascara

Thank you so much! :heart:I'm guess you apply like usual (darkest at lash lines and crease, medium value on lid and lighest above crease?). I think I'm gonna add some falsies to the look since I'm challenged in that deptartment and my short lashes would be lost in this darkness.

yeah right, though I haven't named any light shadow :P I think any light beige highlighter with light shimmer will do under the browbone, then print in the crease and slightly above, then line with a black khol.
